The actress that played Myrtle Fargate on AMC passed away recently. I heard of a spoiler that the show was trying to get Robin Christopher to appear for a memorial service show - Myrtle was Skye's biological grandmother. (I think, it's something that they put in rather briefly in the past) However, supposedly they were not interested in Linda Dano - the illegitimate daughter (Rae Cummings?), Skye's birth mother.

If your area has the Retro TV network RTN, they are running Emergency! weekday afternoons. Linda was in 2 episodes that I know of. In at least one of them, she had long hair.

Lots of actors familiar to soap viewers did episodics that are now shown on RTN. Diedre Hall (ex-Marlena/Days) was a semi-regular on Emergency, as was John DeLancie (ex-Eugene/Days). Randy Mantooth also went on to do soaps after Emeregency.

Marj Dusay (Alex/GL), Michael Swan (ex-Duncan/ATWT) & Peg McCay (Caroline/Days) also did quite a lot of primetime work before coming to soaps.
