I will be joining the pool in my community once again to fight off simmer doldrums. I can't believe the start of the summer season is upon us.What will everyone esle be doing?

Hi Carolyn! I had company this weekend, my mother-in-law's sister. She is a very nice lady and loves to play cards and board games. I wonder how they are from the same family, lol. We had a barbeque and we also, like Juliet, attended our local parade, as we try to do every year, especially since 9/11.
I would love to get a pool, but unfortunately, that is not in the budget. It must be great to have a community pool to enjoy!
I am back to doing medical transcription for a while - I think it was great of you to post this topic. I wish more of the old guys and gals would come back here. I do miss our AW family!

Message: The pool sounds sweet! We have a few barbecues planned, with friends coming over, and they do a big Memorial Day parade in our town on Monday. My son loves it. It's a big deal with marching bands, sailors, marines, etc. . .lots of excitement for a three year-old who loves parades.
I'm 6 months pregnant now so I'll be lumbering along behind him. Hah!
Oh, and just to add, this is my first paid company holiday in 3 years -- that's how long it took to get on staff when I went back to work. Unbelievable, considering I've been at the same company the whole time. Anyway, woohoo! for being paid.
