My point wasn't that it was the same thing. My POINT is that no one would LISTEN to Ridge! They all ASSUMED they knew what happened, and he had a hard time making them believe him! So I would THINK he would be able to put himself in someone else's shoes for a minute, but he obviously can't! But that was my point! He didn't learn a thing from what he went through.
This is like on Y&R years ago, when Vanessa jumped out the window and framed Laurie for her death. And no one would listen to her, that she didn't do it, and that Vanessa jumped! LEAST of all Detective Carl Williams, who accused her of all types of murder she did NOT commit! It was great to see him get his a couple years later, when HE was accused of a murder he didn't commit, and nobody would listen to HIM as he tried to explain! (I was hoping they would execute him, but they didn't!) (I couldn't STAND that man!)

Message: Well, the unforgiveable hypocrisy notwithstanding, Ridge does have a point. Even though Katie's shooting was an accident, Storm HAS purposefully shot someone before. When someone is unhinged like Stormy, it almost doesn't matter whether it was an accident or not -- the guy should not have been running around with a loaded gun.

Message: I didn't have a problem with Ridge because as others said, the situation with Shane was different. However, Storm "is" a cold blooded killer, and him having a gun with him just months after shooting Steff was just CRAZY. And Ridge knew that Storm broke into Ashley's house and freaked A out.

Message: Those were two different things. Ridge tried to stop Shane from killing himself. That's when the gun went off. Storm was already unstable, he should have been in jail for what he did both Stephanie & his Dad.
