I know Katie's scar has been mentioned in the past. But I wonder if the continuity is because of B&B's makeup dept. or because the actress has the scar in real life. I don't know of any other soap that keeps a lead (male or female) character's scar beyond a couple of months unless it's a ''trademark.'' The original Todd on OLTL (Roger Howarth) used to have a facial scar to remind him how evil he has been. Recast Todd lost the scar so he could be a romantic lead. Is that a real scar we saw today (Wednesday show) or a fake? Thanks. : D

Message: the scar is supposed to be from her heart transplant.. I didnt have a heart transplant but I have the same scar..twice now..Once 17 years ago and now just about 8 weeks...It looks about right for the major surgery she supposidley had on the show..Mine had faded alot over the years and with a nice tan you couldn't even see it..
