Additional Comments:

1. If Katie hadn't mentioned why her mother hasn't been around the Logan family tragedies, would other Logan's take notice until now? I am glad the writers are addressing this issue and it is long over due. It was strange not to have Beth around the whole shooting fiasco, Strom’s death and Katie’s heart transplant. Whatever Beth’s explanation is hopefully the writers will do justice. You just can’t have a happy family once she comes to LA. Hope they write it well.

2. I can see the Forrester Brats wanting to oust Eric and Donna and finally they are showing their true colour and it is nice to see bit of family drama taking place (I loved Dallas and it was so good having family take on each other). Hopefully they will include Brigit and Rick in this power battle since they are also children of Eric so it can be truly be a family business battle, not just Ridge, Thorne and Felicia.

3. Lastly, the whole SL involving Markus is making my head spin. Where are his adaptive parents? How old is he supposed to be? Did he leave his parents to look for his birth mother? Why hasn’t he made any calls to his adaptive parents or did Donna ever ask him any questions about his adaptive parents. They are trying to show a potential SL that could be “scandalous”, that is what they want you to think that will bring Eric down but why hasn’t the writers really shown the “humanistic” side of this? I am not feeling empathy for anyone at this case; it’s just boring and predictable.

I agree with you on the first two, but not on the 3rd.  I'm totally digging the Marcus storyline (not to mention the fact that, we all know that with the teens out of school, they have to do a young-love summer SL, and I'm really enjoying this one, and not just b/c Constant-preen isn't involved, ugh!).

Moreover, he has hinted to Donna that there may have been issues with his adoptive home.  I don't find it unusual for him not to contact his adoptive parents if indeed there is a bad relationship there.  Also, I kind of like the idea that they are slowly unraveling Marcus's backstory (b/c it implies he might be around for awhile as we learn the rest of it).
