While watching Thursday's show, I just kept thinking who could survive this? Katie's family is literally torturing her instead of giving her any kind of peace or rest to recover. Oh, and there's Dr. Bridget right there allowing it as though it's OK for anybody to put a patient through that kind of torment. I couldn't believe how, after tearing her down by prematurely telling her what happened, they're ganging up on her and telling her she'd BETTER FIGHT because her brother sacrificed so much for her. I think I'd tell them if they don't all leave my room and stay out, I'm going to start ripping at my incision and banging on my chest, and just will myself to die

Message: another scene that was way over the top - which pretty much makes it in line with the rest of this story. no doctor would allow a family to do this to a fragile patient. it was like a circus in that room - what about all that concern over germs?!?
and its not that i don't get encouraging katie to go on - to accept what's happened and accept the heart. but the way the scene played? i'd want to give up just to escape the family of insanity.

Message: What was odd, is that my husband said, Since she's giving up because of Storm's death, why don't they just tell her that if she dies then so does Storm and that if she lives on that means Storm will through her?! And that very next moment Brooke actually said that!!! So I think they were just thinking just as my husband was....tell her something that may give or make her have the will to live. I totally got that and it is quite understandable too that the whole family is there cheering and pulling for her and trying everything to keep her from giving up! If it were my little sister laying there I wouldn't leave her side either and I'd be desperate to try anything if seconds depended on it. It was very true to life in my opinion, but I don't have anything against the Logans either.

Too funny. I kept thinking the same thing. Poor Katie probably looked up at her 2 sisters and Bridjit and got scared. The icing on the cake was that absentee father showing up and promising he would always be there from now on.
I'd check out too. LOL :)

And this would be the same brother who caused Katie to need a new heart in the first place?
