You're welcome. I agree that medical advisors are needed for the show, especially when dealing with such a complex situation as a heart transplant. J.

I gave up on technical correctness when it comes to medical things back when Stephanie faked her heart attack a couple of years ago. They had her wearing a tracheotomy tube yet she never had a tracheotomy and there is no sign of a scar. It was almost funny. I also loved how they immediately began torturing Katie with Storm's suicide/goodbye letter almost the second she opened her eyes after this massive and critical transplant surgery. I guess when you only have 30 minutes to work with you have to cut some corners in the interest of time management.

our son was in a car wreck. massive head injuries. was eleven years ago but he was in ICU, We were allowed - family only - to go in one at a time taking turns over a just a fifteen minute window every two hours. No more visitors than that and taking turns with only one in the room at a time.
he was hooked to all kinds of machines and tubes. He had a ventilator and leg wrappings that pumped up every so once in a while to work the blood through his legs so he didn't get clots..... lots of noises of beeps and whines. Rather scary actually.
Nothing like this is presented at all...........clear that room and give the girl some peace and some space to recover, for God's sake!!!!

How did your son turn out? -Beezil
He is fine. Has three kids since the accident, works full time and recovered well. Thanks for asking about him. He went through a. tough seven months of rehab but is strong and well today.
So GLAD...
