Topic: Am I the only one rooting for Bill Spencer to take over Forrester?

I don't care what his motives are - even if he is following his father's directive - I would just like to see all of them, smug condescending Ridge, clueless Eric (do you notice how he's always touching and petting Brooke?), arrogant Rick, patronizing, whiny Donna and grand executive Brooke taken down a notch.  I also hate the belittling way they are talking to Katie.  And this is from someone who has bashed Katie in the past.  Great work by HT and DD in their roles by the way.  Have I lost my mind?  Please counsel me if I am wrong to feel this way. 

 And did you notice how large the beach house is even though we only ever see one room of it?

I actually like Brooke and prefer her to St. Taylor but let's face it: the show hasn't really been that exciting lately unless you find the recent breakup of Ridge and Brooke for the hundreth time riveting. Dollar Bill, his relationship with Katie and his takeover attempt of Forrester provide something new and exciting that doesn't involve Forresters falling in love with relatives. Factor in that there is Bill's sister out there somewhere and the Forresters will plot to retake the company and you give me a reason for watching. Are you really fascinated by Bridget and Nick kissing and talking about Stephanie or by Steffy tempting Owen and Jackie crying about it?

You hit the nail on the head, LA!! That's exactly what the cheers for Bill Spencer are about. LOL

Forrester is not Brooke's company. She did not found that company nor start it from the ground up, blood, sweat and tears. Forrester is a family business that was conceived and built by Eric and Stephanie. The part of the company that Brooke DOES own she came by by her dalliances, marriages, etc. with the Forrester men. So, I consider Forrester Eric's company, because, by all counts, it IS Eric's company. And I can't stand what the rutting old goat has done to the company that he started with Stephanie's father's money, not to mention how he has tarnished the company's reputation. It's about time he get taught a lesson about what can happen when no one's minding the store, i.e., when he's been too busy skirt chasing and sharing and passing around Logan women with his sons. Stephanie is the one with the head for business, ... we all know where Eric's head is at. So, whatever Bill Spencer can dish out to Eric I will applaud him all the way and hope that he succeeds in bringing Eric and company to their knees. They treated Stephanie, one of the founders of the company like crap, and made her obsolete in a company that is just as much hers as Eric's, not to mention that Stephanie has more right to the company than Brooke or Donna. Seeing Brooke and Donna squirm is just the icing on the cake. Now they know how Stephanie felt having an interloper take over what THEY feel is rightfully theirs. Don't presume to speak for everyone when you make such sweeping declarations. I want to see Eric on his knees, and I want him to feel what Stephanie felt when she was tossed from HER legacy. pineapple

First, Meow....I never said I didn't like the SL, I just said I didn't like or trust Bill Spencer and didn't feel he should win this company by using and lying to people, or in other words, by being a scam artist. Next....thanks flowergirl and IWTMTV!!! 3rd) i&b, I am speaking for myself when I say I believe that people wanting Bill Spencer to take over only want that to happen due to their hatred of Brooke and therefore the Logans, but if you had enlightened me with the other reasons why...then maybe I could've seen the light. And 4th) pineapple, all I really got out of your debate was that, deep down, it really was all about the Logans, which brings me back to my initial point and assesment= Anyone who would want a creep like Bill Spencer to win out must not like Brooke, or should I say...and/or anyone kin to her.

I am 100 percent behind the OP - I can't see Bill take over and Eric and company lose fast enough.

I hope Katie and Bill are for real and Brooke and Donna have to eat their words (about how their 'poor little sister' is being taken advantage of) with some of that stupid honey of Eric's poured on them.

Ridge is so smug, Eric is a doddering old man and the Logan's are in charge and I hope Bill and Katie show them all how to run a company succesfully.

Of course! Its hilarious to hear, particularly Brooke, speak about keeping FC in *the family*. That is a joke. And Eric is such a complete tool- of course I am rooting against him.  I am hoping they lose it all.

I rarely watch so I had not formed an opinion about Katie- but I must say the way her sisters condescended and talked down to her put me firmly in her camp. I hope they have to eat their words.

I haven't watched in over a month but I have to weigh in anyway. I'd start watching again if Bill and Katie took over FC. Eric's a complete loser when it comes to business lately. How long did it take this nincompoop to finally churn out some designs after he allowed his son to give the last ones away to JackieM? Since then he seemed to be preoccupied with getting laid and protecting his idiot son (take your pick). He only puts business first when things are in the toilet. Someone needs to remind him that they probably wouldn't be in the toilet if he'd done a little TCB BEFORE the crisis emerges. eom Linny

Meow, I'm right there with you. They all need to come back to reality. Here are the Logan girls ringing their hands "We can not loose *OUR* company". GMAB, I still haven't figured out what Donna is doing all day, Brooke was too busy chasing her *destiny* and I guess Erik was too busy planning for the rest of the Logan clan to come to LA. Nobody left to take care of business.
