Additional Comments: First, TPTB didn't know who to pin Stephanie's shooting on, so they decide to make Storm the shooter and created this ridiculous explanation, and totally changed his character. Then they have him going on with life as normal and he's supposedly progressing in his therapy, and then all of a sudden he goes off the deep end and sets all these things in motion that lead to Katie's shooting and his suicide. Something tells me Storm wouldn't be dead if it wasn't May sweeps, so this was just something thrown together at the last minute to create a shocking event for sweeps. And I still don't feel for any of the Logans, and I'm not buying that Storm was acting in his sisters' best interest in any way. He took the coward's way out.

None of this would have happened at all if Ashley had locked her sliding glass door (Storm wouldn't have gotten in). OR if she had locked her front door (Katie wouldn't have been able to burst in).

These things get to me. For example - Ashley living in Los Angeles in 2008. Even if (or especially if) she has a house on the water. DUMB DUMB DUMB !!!!!

But least I forget ~ NO ONE locks any doors on any of the soaps.

Edward, I'm with you and Molsongrrl. This whole storyline is beyond the realm of credibility. Talk about contrived and cheesy...

i agree with what you wrote above and below - this storyline is WAY over the top - even for a soap. its not drama for me - its just stupid. storm kills himself when he can't even be sure his heart would be a match or that they could get to it in time? didn't they say on friday katie only had about 30 minutes or so? yeah whatever. it took way longer than that for him to kill himself - for them to harvest the heart and then to get it into her.

I've said it before on other posts. I hardly call blowing your brains out the act of a coward. I call it highly courageous behaviour which it would be TOTALLY difficult for me to ever do. He was giving his heart to someone, to keep her alive. Could YOU do that? WOULD you do that? And if you DID do that, would you call yourself a coward????? I don't think so!

well certainly from the point of view of giving his heart to his sister - the act has come courage involved. but on the other hand - he's a coward for not facing up to the things he did - for all the stupid excuses about why he shot stephanie. so for me its a bit of both.

Let me put it this way: I don't believe anything like this ever happens in real life because this storyline is ridiculous! And if you want to get technical, I'd be willing to bet in a suicide situation like this, the heart muscles would be long dead before they would be able to preserve the heart, retrieve it and put it into somebody else. This is terrible writing! I can't get into this so-called drama or this so-called courageous act because there is nothing reality based about this terribly written sweeps stunt. It is ridiculous! And no, I'm not going to suspend disbelief or give this awful over-the-top writing a break! (Edward)

I agree with everything you said Edward. Also, I put in another post, Katie is an idiot for trying to pull a gun out of someone's hands, even if it was her brother. She's a buttinsky, I don't like her, and frankly, I wish SHE had died. And to above poster, Storm could not have known if his heart would even be a match for Katie or that they could get it in time. It's just too unbelievable! csd

sure katie shouldn't have grabbed the gun - but she freaked out seeing storm with another gun. and they fought over it for a while - why didn't he drop it? or stop? she wasn't the only idiot in that scenerio.

They're all idiots. It's part of the gene pool. ~i&b
