It was glaringly obvious by the close of today's show that KKL was trying desperately to act UP to HT's standard, IMO. On her own, KKL has her moments, but sharing the screen with HT today, she seemed to be trying WAY too hard.
At least they knew to get JG out of there before it got too heavy.

KKL's acting isn't all that great to begin with, and now that she's acting alongside Heather Tom, she looks downright ridiculous at times. I thought it was bad before, but now it's even more glaring.

Message: At first i thought you were refering to Hunter Tylo, but while reading the other posts, i realised it was Heather Tom. I agree, H. Tom is one of the most talented actresses I have ever seen. When she was a bit younger, people were saying that she would be the next Meryl Streep.

Message: Well, I don't know about that, because they both did amazing with the lines or script that they were given!! KKL's character showed through with trying hard to find words to help comfort a sister who was in a place she's never known before and a place where Brooke had to deliver both feelings of loss and love, but also be a cheerleader to deliver the will, fight and strength to live in her little sister, while her other sister just gave up! Brooke is not the one fighting for her life, so maybe Katie's acting appears to be more dramatic, but Brooke, being the older daughter looking for all the right things to say and all the comfort she can give to make Katie feel better about living and fighting for her life seems just as, or to me, even more difficult or more an acting feat that's a case for the best acting award. No supporting role..she delivers the best and soley on her own!

Message: I rarely feel sorry for the actors, but I did feel for poor Katherine today. You could just tell she saw the whole ridiculousness of it all.
