I'm not refering to the fact that Taylor is rarely on these days (and even when she is, it's merely a plot device to piss Brooke off), rather, it's the fact that Bell treats Taylor like a second-class citizen.
Did you see the way Brooke rolled her eyes at Taylor when she dared show up to the wedding Katie invited her to? And then Ridge joins Brooke just then and joins in on the disapproval (does Ridge do anything these days other than disapprove of Duhnna, Taylor, etc etc- it reminds me of how horrid he used to be to Darla when she was married to Thorne) before both Ridge and Brooke audibly sigh and have to walk away from the sight of Taylor and Rick.
Taylor and Rick were talking to Steffy and Phoebe- and if Phoebe is over it, why aren't you Ridge?! He didn't like Taylor with Nick, and now with Rick too. More than just a judgmental SOB, he's also acting as though he has a claim to Taylor even though he's the one who booted her.
What also gets my goat is the way Jackie is trying to persuade Nick that Katie's the one he truly loves, not Bridget. Well Jackie, where was that support for Taylor when she married Nick?! At that time, you were telling Nick that Brooke was the one for him- has that now changed?! In any case, clearly Taylor couldn't be the one for him.
Not to mention how, during the engagement party, there were toasts and so forth about Bridget becoming Jack's mother- yet Taylor was standing right there people!! It's one thing to have to put up with the nonsense of Nick constantly telling the women in his life that "The Boy" needs a mother (that's bad enough), but to actually do so right in front of Taylor is outrageous.
I'm hoping Taylor gets a front and center role soon- and not just one where she and Rick are annoying Brooke. The following would be great:
a. Stephanie is consumed with depression and grief. She and Taylor have been estranged these past few years, yet both know they were the best of friends. Have Taylor stop by to see Steph, and when she does, they not only renew their friendship, but Steph also gets back into therapy with Taylor. Some of my favorite scenes in recent years were the ones where Taylor was counseling Steph when she was trying to deal with her mother/childhood issues.
b. Whether Nick marries Bridget or Katie, ultimately Brooke will work her way back in. And when she does, Ridge sees the error of his ways, stops acting like a petulant child, and begins to romance Taylor all over again.
c. At the very least, have Taylor counsel Katie and/or Beth because it appears the focus of this show is now officially the Logans- that would insure she gets airtime at least.

I agree with you......usually, but not at all this time! First of all, none of them should walk on egg shells because Taylor is there and if Taylor still has issues she certainly didn't need to be there, which I still don't see a real good reason for her being there anyway. And just because Stephie or Phoebe get over things so easily doesn't mean Brooke and Ridge should follow their lead or do so just for that reason. It seems the children always bounce back sooner than the adults do anyway (ex: Bridget with Brooke, Phoebe with Taylor and Stephie with Eric) and I certainly wouldn't think Ridge's feelings about Rick and Taylor's relationship has anything to do with feeling he has a claim on Taylor....he's so far beyond that now.
And last, Ridge seeing error in HIS ways, if Brooke goes for Nick again?? That would be Brooke's error not Ridge's and Ridge seeing error in Brooke is beside the point because he's already seen all those errors and loves and adores her anyway....and hopefully, if she stupidly (new word?) goes back to Nick it will be her that lets Ridge go instead of trying to keep them both. And for Ridge, going back to Taylor has never cured him of Brooke and I doubt it ever will....plus, even without Brooke in the picture, they have completely zero chemistry and TPTB know that and that's another reason why it could never work between them because whether some like it or not, Ridge is one of the centerpieces of this show and Taylor does not showcase that. She actually brings his character down and makes him stale and boring. Ridge is comfortable with Brooke and it shows in their chemistry together.
