Additional Comments:
Did anyone else find it extremely odd yesterday when Brooke told Ridge she was about to take a shower so she could go and visit Katie, and Ridge asked if he could join her? What the heck was that all about? I'm sure he wasn't implying anything sexual (I would hope!), but believe me, the showers that are available to patients and their families in hospitals aren't all that big.
And besides that, I'm sure Brooke needed to just have a little bit of space and prepare herself for seeing Katie. She didn't need to have Ridge there, pawing at her or not. Ridge, let the poor woman breathe. Sheesh! I'm not even a Brooke fan, and I was practically shouting at the T.V. for Ridge to get a clue. Is it just me?

Thanks for all your comments, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was confused by Ridge's suggestion that he join Brooke in the shower. That was just a weird thing for him to say, no doubt about it. The writers always make Ridge look like an idiot.

Message: I haven't seen this yet but while reading comments, my thoughts were that since men are comforted by sex and Brooke always seemed to like sex A LOT, perhaps Ridge thought that it would be a comfort to her to be sexual in the shower. Perhaps his thought was just a kind way of helping her in her grief. After I see it, I might have a different opinion.

Brooke said she and Donna needed to shower because everything had to be squeaky clean to see Katie. Ride said: Mind if I come along, I could use a shower as well. I see nothing wrong with that if he wanted to see Katie too.

Message: I missed it! I thought he was just saying something about he needed a shower too, I didn't get the implication. He's just such an idiot anyway, but with Brooke on, you barely NOTICE his idiocy!

Message: Yes, I caught that, and it harmed the focus of the scene for a few seconds because I spent a few moments trying to figure out what the heck his intentions were there. That was just weird. It certainly wasn't a sexual moment, but it was HARDLY even a "let's relax in the shower" moment either. If he intended the latter, that was still inappropriate. Brooke needed a quick, functional shower. The kind of shower he was likely talking about would have been for later, when they were finally home and readying for bed.

Message: I THINK that they were trying to make Ridge look sympathetic...comforting. Like he was asking her if she needed any support. He was just going to be there to hold her and keep her company. But most of us didn't take it that way! Missed again B&B!!

Message: Thanks for bringing that up, I meant to post something about that but I forgot. I thought that was a very weird thing to say, and extremely inappropriate. Whether he meant for them to have sex in the hospital shower or not. I just didn't get where he was coming from, and Brooke kind of looked at him funny when he said that. It made me wonder if that line was written of if he was ad-libbing (sp?).
