Additional Comments: I was talking to my Mom earlier and we finally got around to B&B, which we always do. She was talking about how she can't stand Eric these days and that she just hates his eyebrows. She says they're growing into his eyes already! Anyway, Mom was talking about how he used to be the most handsome man about 30 - 40 years ago when he was on Search for Tomorrow. I told her that I thought that he was on Y&R and that his name was Lance Prentiss. She said that was his name on SFT. Which is it? Was he on SFT or Y&R? I clearly remember him on Y&R.

He was not the Brookes girls father; rather, his character (Lance Prentiss) married two of them. eom VeeJay

JM was Lance for years, and had a brother Lucas (who had a beard), and his mother was Vanessa Prentiss, who was played by the big screen actress K.T. Stevens. They were involved in a foursome with Laurie and Leslie Brooks.

I never recall seeing him on SFT at all.

Thanks, Fee. I remember Laurie and Leslie. Mom was convinced that John McCook played Lance on SFT. I knew it couldn't be, because I don't remember ever watching SFT. We used to watch Y&R. I had a huge crush on Brock! pineapple

I loved the way Brock treated his mother! He was such a sweetheart! Snapper was adorbable too (both of them)!!! fee

I think his character went blind on Y&R.

I did a search for his bio. It said

McCook played Lance Prentiss on the soap opera The Young and the Restless , playing the role for five years from 1975 to 1980.
