It's one thing for B & B to throw in the stereotypical shot of Lt Baker downing a donut, but am I the only one who doesn't want or need to see the Lt mowing down on a hotdog?
I remember last time he was on, investigating a suspicious crime, and we saw a scene where he was going at a hotdog like he was competing against Kobayshi (see below) at a Nathan's Famous competition.
Now that he and his intrepid son are back to investigate yet another Forrester mystery, they roll-out the hotdog shot again yesterday and we have to see him stuffing it down again like a boa constrictor opening its jaws to devour a small mammal.
It just cracked me up I guess, because I'm imagining Bell saying to the writers- oh, Baker is back? Then cue the hot dog maker and pass the ketchup!

Message: Being a cop,he's probably too busy to go out for a decent lunchtime meal.I'm glad they showed Junior eating healthly and commenting on his dad's meal.I eat both at different time myself.I love a good dog.

Message: Mmmm-mmmm-mmm. He was really enjoying that hot dog. Nothing better than an icy cold can of "the real thing" with it, either! And then the svelte son comes in with his healthy salad in a plastic container, looking like he lovingly packed it at home, and his bottle of water. Nice contrast!! We really dont get to see the B&B folks eat at all. Nice scene.
