THIS IS ONLY MY SPECULATION AFTER WATCHING TODAY'S SHOW:
At the end of the show, Bridgette says that the only possible way Katie will live is to find a heart transplant. Then they go on and on about how slim the chances of that are.
So how much do you want to bet that Storm is the donor. Now I don't think that he would just jump up and raise his hand and they would rush over and take his heart out, but maybe he commits suicide with strict instructions on giving Katie his heart. (Hey, it's a soap) Or maybe someone (Nick, Ridge, whoever) chases him and he falls off the roof of the hospital building. Voila. They have a viable heart!

Message: I don't know HOW, but I am positive that Stormie will commit suicide to give Katie his heart! Duh. This is the first thing everyone thought of and the only solution. Even people who have read no spoilers about a ''gift'' have said this will happen. And it SHOULD!

Message: How would Storm know his heart was a match for Katie? The fact that they're related means nothing. Total strangers are often a much closer match than family members, plus as a man his heart is probably too large for her anyway.

Message: Was thinking the same thing. Storm is suddenly no where to be found. I just hope that he does it in a way that doesn't damage the heart. I also still hope Ridge finds out that Brooke was the one who sicced Storm on Ashley.
Talk about parallels...if Storm offs himself, it will just like the Steph/Andy/Brooke debacle. The culprit will be dead and the person involved in the whole mess by winding up the culprit and aiming it at the target will have to live with what they did. The only difference is that there will be two victims, Ashley and Katie.
