Watching two 50 year olds pine for each other after a 20 years is old. And it's funny. Hasn't every man on B&B had a vision of his marriage to Brooke? All I could do yesterday was laugh.
On another note, what's wrong with Brooke? She comes across as immature like she's living in a romance novel. Or she's dumb as a box of rocks. Even if Rick didn't edit the video she still can't get why Ridge would be upset about getting kicked out of his own home and always another man (Nick and Jack) coming between them. She's clueless! It's like she has an un-named mental illness.

I think it's AWESOME that two 50-something beautiful, sexy, successful individuals still have such passion for each other. Why should it stop at a certain age? Love is love and those two have always had it bad for each other.
Now, what is pathetic is Taylor pining away for a man who left her for another woman and whom she knows if she was to get back now, it would only be because he's upset with the woman he really loves. She's so needy and sad--Taylor Hayes is the poorest excuse for a psychiatrist that I've ever seen.

And even edited, that podcast was NO reason for Ridge to get mad at her. Brooke didn't give the job to Rick, she had NOTHING to do with that. And he should NEVER have taken all that mess out on her. He's a pompous jerk, as always. Never changes, never will!

I have no problem with 50 year olds pining for each other, loving each other or having sex. HOWEVER, these two...dumb as a box of rocks sums it up quite nicely, although I like to say dumber than dryer lint.
If you truly love each other, when you actualy are with each other, you don't allow someone else to come between you. You don't go off and have relationships and marriages with other people and then uproot that life to come back to your safety net. That's not love, it's egotistical bed-hopping.
Their ''destiny'' is to be together only until someone else comes along, then to be apart and get back together later. Lather...rinse...repeat...

Those of you who are still in awe of Ridge and Brooke more than likely haven't been watching for over twenty years like a lot of us. This isn't really about older people making love. It's about watching these two rolling around in bed for the past twenty some years - same old, same old. It's like watching the same rerun daily for years on end. It is unrealistic but that's what soaps are all about - seldom any honest to goodness reality. I am sick of the two of them together, no matter what they're doing!

What praytell is wrong with two fifty year olds still pining for each other after 20 years? They love each other and have a very long history together. Stephanie and Eric still pine for each other after 50 years,and they both have had other partners.Eric more than Stephanie but still.Also Brooke is not 50(although there is nothing wrong with that)She and Ridge both look good for their ages and have millions of fans as Bridge.
Also people over 20 have sex,so seeing older adults making love is a reality.Ridge,Brooke,Nick,Taylor,Thorne,Felicia are all around the same age group,and have active sex lives,so why not show it? I prefer that to seeing teens or 20 somethings going at it non stop.JMO.

I so agree with your post. It has gotten to the point, actually for the past year or two, that I 'cringe' when I see Brooke and Ridge in bed making love. I Actually fast forward through their sex scenes or change the channel and watch a commercial for a minute. There is nothing romantic, exciting or endearing to see those two all over each. It's like - OMG I can't take this. Barf!
As for clueless Brooke - How could she stand there and let Ridge go on and on about how she betrayed him in her little speach, when she knew she didn't? She just stood there with her head cocked to one side, the one tear in her eye and her mouth hanging open. Why didn't she open her mouth and say - "What are you talking about? The whole speach was about you and how you ARE Forrester Creations. All I did was praise you!!??" Then maybe Ridge would have shut his mouth for a two seconds and then said "Huh?" Gawd those two people are annoying.
