Topic: Who Else is Sick of Bridge Love Scenes?

After all these years and their 10,000 breakups, I just can't stomach the love scenes between these two. Are we supposed to believe they might actually stay together long enough to get married for the 10th time?  Are we supposed to even care?

Plus, if I were Ridge I'd be afraid to touch Crooke without her seeing a doctor first.  But maybe he's more trusting that way considering how she kept it in the family and all.

Sorry, but at first when I read 'Bridge' ...Brooke and Nick first came to mind, so therefore, for a moment I was in agreeance that there was NO WAY I could stomach Brooke and Nick again after all he has done and especially, after today's show which almost had me puking. 

Now although, you weren't talking about Ridge and Brooke... I believe Brooke would be a crazy fool to let Ridge down again because he not only loves her ...he simply adores her and would do just about anything in this world to be with her and make her happy. I don't think their relationship is sickening at all and that's because Ridge is totally in love and into to her. However, if Brooke is to let him down again ...then I may feel differently, but for now there's no reason to feel their relationship is anything but good. I know that could all change in a day or two, but what they have right now is in no way stomach turning. 

Nick, on the other hand is a cancer...not just to Brooke, but to all the Logans and every woman he gets involved with. He may love Brooke the most, but he's just too weak of a man to stay away from any other women (even if he's with Brooke). Just as soon as or if and when another woman shows him the slightest of attention he gives in. He's not good with his manhood.

Just to avoid confusion, Brooke + Nick = Brick; Brooke + Ridge = Bridge. That's how it's been ever since Nick was introduced. ~i&b

Ridge was totally into Ashley, too, and was sick of how Brooke treated him at one time. He can change on the flip of a coin! fee

LOL! i&b...that's actually what caused my downright silly confusion! For some odd reason, I understand Brooke & Ridge = Brooke & Ridge .....a lot better. I admit, that sometimes I have to say the two names together in my head when I see those combo-names used ....just to realize who we're talking about. But that's okay, because I too, was mostly making fun of myself and I first actually said in my original reply in parenthesis that ..(I'm just not with it today) but, then deleted it. I guess I should have kept there so that I wouldn't be the butt of your sarcastic so-called humor!!! So I'm sorry, if I offended you by not quickly getting it, but I atleast admitted it. And to fee, Ridge may have had feelings for Ashley, but she was just a temporary detour and nothing else. I never claimed or said Ridge was a saint, but that he's always loved Brooke.....not Taylor or Ashley or anyone else, but Brooke.

I agree we don't necessarily need to see them in bed all the time. However, I actually thought the dialogue between them on Friday's show was sweet.

Anyway, I always thought that HT and RM had less chemistry than KKL and RM.

Me, too.  I am also very distracted by something Brooke has had done to her face around her top lip.  It looks like it doesn't really move much when she is talking.  She needs to cut out the Botox or they need to quit the close-ups of her face.

I know you're not supposed to make nasty comments about the actor's appearance (and this isn't really nasty), but I noticed her upper lip too. It now looks like She's Got Gwyneth Paltrow Lips (you can sing it to the tune of Bette Davis Eyes). Just pokin' a little fun here. cygnet

What?? If anybody has done anything obvious to their lips ...it's Taylor! If Brooke has done anything it's not THAT obvious.

I watched today's show only to see what Brooke had done to her lips and ......NOTHING AT ALL! Her lips were exactly the same as I always!! But, she did look beautiful.

ITA that no one wants to see Brooke & Ridge love scenes anymore....I know I don't. IMO, that ship sailed a long time ago. I doubt though that Ridge should be any more afraid to touch Brooke without seeing her doctor than she should be touching him before seeing his doctor first. And seeing how it looks like a possible Ridge/Taylor pairing on the horizon, it would REALLY do Ridge well to see Taylor's doc before touching her, considering all the dudes she has laid it down to in the last few years. I imagine Tay's chances of having some kind of funky-funk is far greater than Brooke, given the number of Taylor's sleeping partners of late outnumbers Brooke's, plus the fact that Tay got busy with strangers met & piecked up in bars while she was drunk. I'd say the way they all trade bed partners, a group clinic visit is in line, with a round of STD & HIV testing for all of them.

I've got to disagree with you there. In the last 10 years, Ridge has been with three other women besides Crooke (Taylor, Morgan and Ashley). Taylor had not been with Thorne, Hector, Stephen, Rick or anybody else until after Ridge dumped her so none of that comes into play. In that same time period, Crooke has been with Grant, Ridge, Throne, Deacon, Nick, and (sadly) her rapist. (I have a feeling I'm leaving someone out but I can't think of who it would be.) Crooke has definitely outpaced Ridge. ~i&b

Brooke may have Ridge beat in the number game in the last 10 years since we can't actually count his nasty tongue-banging with lil' sis Bridget, and we don't think he went all the way with Donna. But, In regards to Taylor & her slew of bed partners, I posted above....''in the last few years.'' Again, in the last few years, Taylor's slew of men has definately greatly outnumbered that of Brooke's, so those men you mentioned & the bar pick-ups do come in to play as they are all bed partners of Taylor's since she has been with Ridge, which I would think would cause him to want to check with Tay's doc before touching her. Whether we're talking bed partners of Taylor & Brooke before Ridge, after Ridge, while with Ridge, or after Ridge dumped Taylor, time line of 10 years or the last few years, bottom line, Taylor still has Brooke beat in the numbers department and the screwing strangers department. I agree, Jovan, but there's no arguing when people want to think otherwise about that comment of Taylor's. But Taylor has NOTHING to do with this topic. She slept with all those other guys AFTER Ridge had already left her. ~i&b

Yeah, right, that's what she meant when she said it....sure it was. Only Taylor could say she had slept with strange men & it be translated to mean that she meant she had slept with a man she had known(he & his entire family) for years. Yeah, because that would just be so strange. Anyone else(especially Brooke or Donna) who would have made a comment like that, it would have meant exactly what it meant, exactly what it sounded like, she slept with strange men. Then I would guess they'd be called something along the lines of ho, slut, tramp, etc. But not Taylor, she meant something else, something more morally & socially accepted than sleeping with total strangers. Sorry, but I'm not a Taylor fan, never was. I don't care about her one way or the other. But I know what the context of the remark was and when you take the remark in context it no longer fits your interpretation. I'm guessing that's why you choose to ignore what else she was saying when she made that remark. ~i&b

Ok, my two cents is that I'd rather sleep with a stranger than my son-in-laws. The stranger thing has always been a fantasy of mine! Oh my, call the morality police! I am raising my hand too. The bloom is off the rose for this couple, it's been that way for quite some time now. I am glad for the fast forward button and for the ability to fast forward online video. There's no problem with a soap couple having the occasional love scene to appease their fans and to contrive some chemistry and keep the romance factor on a soap going, but there are way too many for this couple. There are no redeeming qualities for this couple, the writers seriously need to stop forcing them down our throats as some transcending super couple. I need a barf bag just to watch them together.

And they need to get over the KKL constantly in lingerie thing. I mean get over it, she's not the only woman in the world that can pull off wearing a nightie. The squeaky voice doesn't help either.

I for one cant stand looking at them anymore...

When I see them in bed or getting lovey dovey, I just cringe, and if by chance I look up at the tv and they are getting thier mack on I QUICKLY avert my eyes so I dont feel disgusted.  I dont know why those two together strike such a nasty chord in me, maybe its because Ive seen it too many times, or possibly, the FACT that Ridge is just the soup of the day for Brooke. she is one fickle chick. 

The act of love making is supposed to mean something. Its supposed to be special and I just dont get that vibe from them anymore. Its almost like watching two hookers getting it on. Just doing it for the money..... in my opinion Ronn Moss and Katherine Kelly Lang have lost whatever chemistry they tried to fabricate in the beginning. You stretch a rubberband too many times and eventually it doesnt go back to its original form. I think these two are wore out. jmho

Here I am raising my hand.  I feel exactly the same way you to i&b.  Actually, it's hard for me to even look at the screen anymore while Brooke and Ridge are rolling around in bed. It honestly is hard to stomach.  I have to roll my eyes anymore when these two start their love scenes.  They are so boring and unromantic together. We all know it's just a matter of time before Brooke will be off again with Nick, or someone else.  Or maybe it will be Ridge this time.  These two have been on again and off again for twenty five years.  I got tired of it at five years.  They are one huge YAWN.

Ha ha, I've been thinking the same things!  I'll tell ya, a major time-waster on this show is ANY Brooke/Ridge love scene.  HOW MANY of those have we been subjected to over the last 20+ years?  Are those scenes really even worth the time and money to film anymore?  Okay, okay, Brooke and Ridge have sex a lot, WE GET IT!  I think I know KKL's "lingerie" body better than I know my own, for crying out loud.
