Additional Comments: OH FGS, with the age difference of Owen & Jackie, would they not have discussed the family issue BEFORE getting married?? Jackie has got to be AT LEAST 60 years old and for Owen to expect her to start over with a new baby at this stage of her life is totally ridiculous. It's obvious she's NOT into it. If he wanted a baby he should've married someone closer to his own age. I am not bashing older women but think it is ludicrous that this would not have been discussed between Owen and Jackie prior to marriage.

Steffie said the other day that is was his *lifelong dream* to be a parent. Since freaking when?? It's just all so plot-driven and recent history-changing it makes me mad. So TPTB want Owen & Steffie together. DO IT BETTER THAN THIS. For Jackie to invite Steffie over for her and Owen to talk about having a kid together was just total insanity! Who the hell does this? Just watching that scene was so awkward and silly it made me cringe. Yeah, 'you two are good friends so just think about having a baby together' coming from a man's wife, is about as awkward as is ever gets, and pretty freaky I must add! GMAFB!

Message: It wasn't long ago and Jackie was ready to leave Owen so he could have his freedom to be with someone younger, in case he did want to have children. Then, Owen said he wanted Jackie, and that he had no desire to have a child, and if he ever did, they could adopt. Now, all of a sudden, it's something he's been "thinking about for a long time". Jackie should have made it more clear if she had no intention of ever wanting to adopt a child as well.
