I have to say I shed a tear watching that scene. I know that so many hate her but I admire a woman that loves her family to all end. I know that she has done so much wrong but I wish that Eric would have stayed with her and help make things right instead of being with Donna. I feel where she is coming from all the time and when you are older letting go is harder for you to do. Stephaine is the lady I wish I could be strong enough to let go. I mean my man sucks at times but I still forgive I wish I had the nerve to do what she did today at the wedding. Only my heart would have broke saying goodbye to my best friend. Susan you are simply the best and you are the heart and soul of this show. Leave or stay but I watch to see you. One word Fabulous.....

Instead of watching Stephanie sing this loser's praises and grieve the loss of an old goat like Eric, I'd much rather see her hold her head up high and NEVER take this idiot back- even if he came crawling back on his knees- when Donna is finished with him! That whole scene where she was telling Donna- "You got a good man..." Made me want to barf! In fact, it was humiliating and infuriating to watch her have to lower herself like that. I don't think she looked like a hero. I think she looked like a love sick fool- standing there lying about this horny, old creep that she foolishly married over 40 years ago- as he married his mistress in HER old home! I only hope- Stephanie's heart heals from Eric's abuse very soon. I hope she opens her eyes and SEES what a filthy old fart Eric has really become.

I hadn't thought of it much that way. Very true - especially after I watched clips last night of the first time Eric left her and she found out it was for a pregnant Brooke. Steffers is definitely lovesick over the old goat. eom Mike

I was overcome with sadness for her seeing Stephanie gazing in on Duhna and Eric. Very well-played scene. But then Ms Flannery does ALL here scenes superbly. Love the actress!!

I really don't get all the Steph nostalgia... it's not like they've been together for 50 years & it's the first time he's remarried. Steph & Eric aren't as bad as Brooke & Ridge for the breakup/makeup merry-go-round, but they've done it enough where I really only thought, it's about time you let go of that old goat, Steph!

By attending the wedding, Stephanie was pouring salt in her own wounds. I did not feel sorry for her when she was reminiscing. She had plenty of time to say goodbye to ''her'' place before the nuptials. jmo

That was so sad. When she looked inside to see them dancing, then she remembered her and Eric dancing, that was just sad. She left with class, and it was sad to see it. I was proud of her for leaving quietly.

Oh so sad....all her mind games and manipulation did go as well as she thought they would and she looked so depressed and dissappointed that they didn't work like they use to. I'm sure there's something else up her sleeve and she's not through with Eric ...that is, if she's not leaving the show....

And if she's truly giving up, it's only because she's leaving, and if she's leaving....I will truly miss SF.

To me, she's like some feel about Brooke.....I love to hate her and can't imagine the show without her.

I felt that she was very classy, walked out with her head held high. The only thing I did not like was the constant praise of Eric (how he had been a good husband, etc). I hardly see Eric as the mostly innocent, injured party and Stephanie as the complete villain in the marriage. There was enough blame to go around for both of them. I am extremely sad to see her go especially giving up her home but I can understand that it may have been too painful to live there.
