I'm sure this topic has already been WELL covered, but I just tuned back into BB after a six month break so this was news to me.
I thought it was bad enough that 46-50 year old Brooke was donating eggs a couple of years ago, but this one takes the cake.
Okay, Nick looks every bit of middle to upper 40s. If his character is supposed to be younger than that, they shouldn't have casted Jack Wagner in the part. Jackie is his mother....even though they look the same age and on some days he even looks older than her. That's enough of a suspension of belief, but whatever....So if Jackie gave birth to Nick, even as a very young mother (say 16 or so), that would still put her in her early to mid-sixties at the very least.
Suspension of belief is one thing, eg. Brooke still giving birth and donating eggs with 2 30-something kids, but this business with Jackie is totally OUT THERE. JMO.

so he and Jackie can have a baby that is biologically his. Jackie is too old to raise a baby. Owen is an idiot, he wants a 65 to 70 y/o woman to raise a child. She will probably be dead before the kid is out of it's teens.

The whole thing is absolutely stupid! Nick is every bit of 40 years old. His mother has to be at least 60. And she's supposed to just pop out a baby for him? Preposterous!!
Somebody handed Brad Bell an Emmy and he thinks these types of stories are captivating.
