Additional Comments: Watching 3 grown women in their 30's, or 40's jumping up and down on a bed like teenagers. How ridiculous.

I thought it was stupid too. Their cackling was like fingers on a blackboard. I hate characters bringing up imaginary memories from stuff that never appeared on screen. It all seems like fill in. The show is only a half hour...why waste it on Katie's ramblings?

It wasn't so much what they were doing but the fact that it was just 3 sisters. Doesn't Katie have any friends?

Oh, good lord!  It's ridiculous for a grown woman and her sisters to have fun on the eve of her wedding?  So, they jumped on the bed, drank champagne and celebrated....big deal...I thought it was cute!  I hope I never get too old to stop having that kind of fun or to think it's ridiculous when someone else does.

It was better than watching some of the other dumb, TRULY ridiculous $hit that Bradley Bell dishes out.

    Meant to post this here~~

OMG!! Sorry to say that me (at 49) my sister (at 51) and best friend (at 50) just did the same thing on a Hampton Inn bed just 3 weeks ago!! We haven't seen each other in a long time and we all stayed together in the same room. We had double beds, but we ganged up together on one and were acting out the past situations and suddenly we got so giddy we were jumping and hugging each other!! It was great and probably one of the most special moments I've had in years!!! We had a blast and yes, we were drinking too and having a very good time. Would do it again 10 years from now...if possible!! Didn't know there was an age limit!! *Terri*

  • Terri, I agree. I thought it was great seeing these two sisters, even with all of their reservations about Katie's fiance, being supportive and showing encouragement and happiness for her wedding and marriage.

That was so embarrassingly contrived, and all three actresses seemed awkward and uncomfortable.  It just seemed so fake.  Grown women just do NOT do that. I hate how they dumb down women for the "giddy" effect.  Please.

Also, I'm not positive, but I think people with heart transplants are supposed to abstain from alcohol, but that's another matter, I suppose.

  • I agree with Terri, I think it's cute to have fun like that, and being 49 myself ....I say BRING IT ON.....pour the champaign sister! Laura
  • I gree, there's no reason why
  • I was just thrown by how awkward and uncomfortable these particular three actresses seemed doing it. -Beezil
  • I guess no one else's parents bothered to teach them this, but MY father taught me from a young age that jumping up and down on mattresses was BAD for the mattresses. And jumping up on and down on someone else's property and possibly damaging it was just plain wrong. But then, we were also taught not to walk through people's yards without permission, not to steal from people, that we were not entititled to other peoples' property, that other people didn't ''owe'' us anything, and not to be destructive in any way to other peoples' property. Many of which are things that are not taught much today, as things are taught to be more communal (as in communist, where everybody owns everything together, and there is no such thing as private property). Since I'm not watching I was fortunate enough not to have seen this scene, but I know I would have been going on and on about them being destructive of property. Which of course doesn't matter if it's your OWN property and you don't care. (I need a new mattress now and can't afford it, but you can bet your sweet bippy that if I had abused mine (it's 20 years old now) I would be KICKING myself in the backside!!!!) fee
  • It was Brooke's own property, fee. They were in her house in her bedroom. At first, I couldn't tell where they were, although it looked just like Brooke's room. Then I saw the photo of Bridget on the nightstand and realized I was right. So, I guess they were just jumping on Brooke's bed.
  • And we all sure know how much abuse Brooke's bed is capable of taking! LOL!--Beezil
  • Right on Terri and Laura!!I completely agree with you.Nothing wrong with having some fun;at any age.Especially when it's good, clean, family fun.More power to them!!
