Topic: Eric is a passive-aggressive putz!

Additional Comments: If Eric had just said, no Donna I don't want Katie's reception at our home - that is at least a decision I could respect. But instead he says yes and then pouts the whole time. He is probably patting himself on the back for being so "nice" by making such a big sacrifice. Well, I say passive-aggressiveness is not nice, it's juvenile, wimpy and inconsiderate. If you don't want to do something, the nicest thing you can do is to say no as early as possible to give other people enough time to find other options.

I've known the type of people who agree to something they don't want to do then either back out at the last minute or make everyone sorry they didn't pick some other option. I have no respect for such people and, once identified, never count on them for anything since they are unreliable and untrustworthy. Once you say yes to something you limit a person's other, possibly better, options. Why do some people not GET this?

No wonder Stephanie had trouble respecting Eric when they were married!

Eric is a brat. I see where his kids get it. He deserved to lose the company due to his lousy business decisions. I'm getting tired of everyone whining about how Bill stole the company. He should have let that company go under and bought it for cheap rather than step in and assume all of its debts and keep the whining staff on board. As far as business decisions go, Bill made a big mistake keeping these ungrateful idiots on staff.

Right! If Eric was so against having this reception at his house, there's no way he should have agreed to it. What a wuss! Donna may be an idiot for asking him to do such a thing, but if he agreed he should have at least been a decent host instead of acting like a pouty, snotty littleĀ child whose mother made him attend a funeral. This man will never get any balls! If he had a pair left, he would have said Hell No!

I know! Eric needs to grow a pair, I bet the only way he made it in the business world was with Stephanie's help. Donna disgusts me for what she did, but Eric is disgusting for not being a man! These two need to be broken up, and the writers need to take a look at how Eric is being written, this can't be the same guy that knocked Sheila out in 2002, if this Eric was around he would have asked her to kindly stop.
