Topic: This show has completely lost all apeal

I tuned back in today and realized why I had gave it up.

The Logans cannot carry this show. It has no interesting dialog or anything anymore. I get so tired of characters repeating themselves. You know like, because of Bridget, she's so wonderful ,and you are soooooooooooo amazing because you raised us singlehandedly. Not to mention everybody telling everybody else who they should be with and sacrificing their feelings for that person because someone else wants them too. Like mothers and daughters and sisters and aunts. It's just crazy! I can't even begin to think that I would be romantically involved with anyone that had slept with my mom. Taylor & Rick are ridiculous after Phoebe & Rick and Brooke and Nick after Bridget and Nick and now Bridget &  Nick again after his reaction to Katie. I swear this show should be renamed "All in the Family"!

I think I wrote that same sentence ........ ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO ... lol!

I only check in occasionally and still find little reason to watch.

It´s not the Logan family that isn´t working. They were one of the core families in the beginning of the shows history and they worked fine. it´s the SL that´s boring.

ITA Mrs.Smith. You are very right, the Logan's are one of the two core families & have been since the very beginning. They were a major part of B&B & had many SL's, especially in the early years. It is not the families that are the problem, it's the SL's & the bad writing. BFF

Yes, they were one of the core families, but they've come and gone over the years. In recent years/months, we've had Donna and Katie, plus Stephen and Storm, reinserted and made into major characters. I feel no affection for any of them. Of all of them, Beth was probably the one major character we saw for many years. The Donna of today was NOT at all like the Donna of old. I think I just really dislike JG and she cannot act to save her life. She's boobs and blonde hair - that's it. heck

I think it would have been better if the original actors returned (even though I wouldn´t want to lose HT). As it is now KKL is the only original actress still on from the Logan family. Mrs.Smith

I think you're right about ther replacing of all the original actors that were the Logans. Yes the Logans were a core family from the beginning but now they seem like a different family because of all the new actors. Through the years wherever they needed the Logans to come back for one of Brooke's wedding TPTB always brought back the original actors. So even though we didn't see them daily we still got attached to the original actors. Another thing Bell also changed much of the Logans history and when he replaced Donna, Bell gave her complete make over. Beth raised those children NOT Stormy, yes he was there but he didn't raise them. Hell he's only 2 years older than Brooke and about 3/4 years older than Donna. They are trying to make us believe Stormy was their Daddy. Plus the Logans forgave Stephen years ago when he first appeared on the show, he and Beth even got back together and he gave Brooke away at one of her wedding FGS. Now all of sudden the girls have abandonment problems? Yeah right. p (puzzled)

I agree with you, especially about rewriting the Logans history. The original Donut was brainy and had some class. She worked as a model in college, earned a degree in journalism, and was starting a career in publishing at the time she left the canvas. When Nu-Donut appeared there was no talk of having earned a degree. She was said to have been working as a waitress all those years and Crooke complained when Donut was hired as a model at Forrester and said Donut had no modeling experience. WTF? One other thing, Storm was about 5 years older than Crooke when the show first began. She was just graduating college and he was already out of college, out of law school, and had been practicing law for some time. But like you said, he wasn't around all that much and it was Beth who the girls turned to for support. ~i&b
