Subject: hee - i was about to post that you beat me to it. this nomination feels like its based more on the actresses rep than actual content from the show. i mean really ... until this shooting - what has the character of katie done on the show? what great acting has it required?

Subject: I can remember a scene where Katie and Brooke were visiting their father in jail (I think), and they were about to tell him about Storm setting him up for Steph's shooting. Heather Tom's acting was so good in that scene, she made KKL look foolish by comparison. Although Heather Tom hasn't really had a major storyline up until this point, her acting has still been stellar, even in the smallest moments. She outshines just about everyone on the show, except for Eileen Davidson and Susan Flannery, who are the only actors on the show that I would consider to be as talented as she is.........nina

Subject: sure don't see why HT would get any award when others don't. She is not that good an actress but for some reason people like her. Personally, I don't care for her at all.
