Additional Comments: Long ago in 'a galaxy far away', that is, 1960's America, young people stood up to the establishment and said "HELL NO....WE WON'T GO!!!". We were referring to the fake, phoney Vietnam War promoted by the military-industrial-banking complex and whose point man was LBJ. Yes, it was a contrived war as the recently released documents concerning the bombing of the US Liberty and the Gulf of Tonkin incident reveal. Regardless, it killed 58k young Americans and that's not fake.
Back then, the media was all stuffed shirt, love it or leave it conservative and that's what was promoted. Kids demonstrated at Kent State and were shot dead. The Nation was outraged. The Clintons became Democrats who were painted as being 'more tolerant' back then.
What does this have to do with today? Well, several things. First of all, today's self proclaimed 'tolerant and caring' politicians whether Republican or Democrat don't seem to have any tolerance for the spirit of the 60's, that is, DISSENT. We have been exposed from television at their speeches to see people just asking questions who are tasered and then beaten. Sadly, the younger generation in the audience is usually laughing and verbally supporting these gestapo like beatings. What is this mentality? Someone asks a questions an the cry goes out to taser them, beat them, kill them? Secondly and it seems to be part of their orchestrated approach, both neo-cons and neo-libs on the talking point shows have called for dissenters at political rallies to be tased and beaten (Glenn Beck, O'Reilly etc). They have in a measured way equated 911 truthers and Ron Paul supporters with 'terrorists', calling for them to be tased and beaten. Now, a woman asked Hi(t)lary Clinton a question and she aggressively chastised the woman in front of the audience and this woman was dragged out. She was lucky she wasn't tased and beaten.
This is not the spirit of open-mindedness, free-thinking and expression that the 60's generation (supposedly Hilary's) stood for. Can we, as citizens, not ask our public officials questions anymore without being tased and beaten? We seem to have a collection of fascists on both sides of the contrived 'aisle'. The message is to just shut up, go along with our fake program (including more wars) or you will be tased and beaten. They want us to just enjoy the parades (like HItler who loved them), shut up and be good slaves.
As the power figures of my genertion have sold their souls to the military-industrial-banking complex, it is up to the younger generation to be truth seekers. Otherwise, they will end up with a gun in a sand dune in a god-forsaken place somewhere in the empire of the neo-fascists, our politicians.

Thank goodness we still have Neil YOung! He was fighting for people in the 60s with ''Ohio,'' and he's still fighting for them with ''Let's Impeach the President!'' And I LOVE the way he had the album download for FREE on his website!
Cuz you KNOW there were people accusing him of just doing it for money! Well, try a FREE one on for size! And accusing Neil of being out to make money was a joke anyway!
And I totally believe that Ron Paul is the only person running who is actually for the PEOPLE! And I'm going by his voting record in Congress. Somebody who actually puts his money where his mouth is! Durn right the politicians and media don't like him! Gee, I wonder WHY!!!
I think people are more mind controlled from watching the boob tube now than they were back in the 60s.
Oh, and by the way! The ONLY signs I've seen for the past few months in my area have been Ron Paul signs. And there have been PLENTY of them! But the elections will all be rigged anyway! They were last time, and they will be this time!
I saw a quote a while back from someone, can't remember who. But it was something like,
Elections are not won by those casting the votes; they are won by those counting the votes!
