Additional Comments: Finally! DAYS is dealing with a real issue. An autistic Theo. I hope that the writers can do a serious story about autism. I just pray that the writers don't mess this up, because this is serious.

Message: I hope they treat it seriously too; I know several people dealing with children who suffer from varying degrees of autism and it is a tough road. I hope the writers don't apply the standard Abe/Lexi rule of dealing with a problem; i.e.: Abe gets angry and turns away from Lexi and Lexi has an affair. I have a feeling if that happens Dr. Dan will the the first one in line to take her troubles off of her mind.

Message: I'm looking forward to the story but I'm concerned about whether Lexi and Abe's relationship can take it. They were already having some issues and now the added stress of Theo's autisim will either tear them apart or bring them closer. I'm hoping it will bring them closer as we've already seen years of them arguing and Lexi's adultry. I also hope we don't have to watch her turn to Daniel and then have to watch him try to decide between Lexi and Chelsea.

Message: I thought Wednesday's show did a very good job of portraying the impact on the Carvers of Theo's diagnosis. They hit all the right notes.

Message:
If done right (operative, key word, being, right!) this has potential to be a very good storyline. Soap operas are supposed to evoke emotion, make you shed a tear once in a while. Hopefully talking about it today wasn't a one time deal, maybe we can actually witness Abe, Lexie and Theo dealing with it, together as a family. I just hope that the TPTB don't toss it on the backburner for Morgan or Dr. Dan/Chelsea....Let's give these vets (James and Renee) something great to work with.
