I personally like NuJohn better than old John but I agree with him getting annoying. I love the sarcasm he comes up with. As for Marlena I hate how the writers are having her basically so needy again. I would like them to pair Marlena up with someone new, hopefully not a relation, we have enough of that in Salem. Let her gain some independence and let John come crawling back. I don't know if I want him to regain all his memories and become boring old John again. Maybe he could have alittle of both Johns personalities. That may be interesting.

I would like to see nu-John start having an effect on Marlena. Make her a little "bad" for a change.

I like the nu John. I do like Marlena's reaction to John's remarks at times. Big change for both of them. Maybe Ava should give Marlena competition, would prove interesting.

[The following is my own opinion. It is not meant to belittle, demean, or exclude anyone else's take, point of view, or opinion]
I'm not so sure I agree, Mike. Sure, Robo-John is being very obnoxious ... but to him, Old John is a total stranger, whom Robo-John is not sure he even likes, let alone wants to become.
As you might have seen when Steve/Patch came back, I'm not a fan of these women's nagging and insisting and begging their traumatized men to stop being what they are and become the stranger that the women claim was so lovable, 'way back when.
How does it become the amnesiac's responsibility to reconstruct himself so the women who used to love them could indulge themselves? Why can't the (presumably) undamaged women make the effort to get acquainted with the man they see before them, instead of whining that they want the OOoooolllld Love-Of-Their-Life to go {{{{POOF}}}} and become the insipid Prince Charming they can't remember being?
See, I know perfectly well that Steve was the love of Kayla's life, and that John was the love of Marlena's life. But I wish Marlena would ease up a bit, and look for what Robo-John has become. Maybe she'd find a legitimate place to start loving John as he is. Simply hounding John to stop being the only character he remembers being is counter-productive and a pain in the butter-dish, probably to him as well as to me (and perhaps I'm the only one who thinks this way, of course).
Now, I am enjoying the new Robo-John very much indeed. Robo-John is a fascinating character, at war with himself without being aware of any conflict.
Yay for Hogestyn! for taking those acting classes and getting out of that three-facial-expression-squinty-eyebrow-one-dimensional-trick! He's far more interesting as he is now.
JMAO, as always.

Well stated. At least, Ava appreciates the New John; he should just hook up with her. Poetist
Well stated, indeed. Also if you read my next to the last statement - - I am saying that I don't want John to be 100% OldJohn. I don't see how that would be possible anyway. He would be a combination of the two which would be great. I love the way he tells people like it is. I'm just saying. Also I agree with the other poster about Ava appreciating John for who he is. Ha! Yea she appreciates it for different reasons. I do not care for her anymore. She is just stirring the pot. eom Mike
''[Ava is] just tirring the pot''? But I LIKE characters who stir the plot. ... eom\nansky
:-) I like them too. Just not feeling her in this particular case. I don't like anybody constantly messing with my Marlena/John. However I DID like how Ava had Paul Hollingsworth dragged to the mansion for John. That was kinda cool. Other than that she needs to stay away LOL. eom Mike
