Additional Comments:
Carly Manning is a doctor, but I've never seen a doctor act the way she does. First, she calls 911 and leaves Hope, seriously injured and trapped beneath a crate, and just runs off to help Melanie. Yes, I know, Melanie is her daughter, but what about the Hippocratic Oath?? Shouldn't she have stayed and tried to help Hope? What kind of doctor abandons an injured person? Then, Melanie is shot, and Carly doesn't even seem to know what to do. She just gets hysterical (yes, its her daughter, but doctors are supposed to be trained to function under stress), and if it weren't for Lexie, Melanie wouldn't have gotten any medical attention at all. I hope my doctor didn't attend the same medical school as Carly.

Message: I like Carly, but she is acting like a wacko. Too wacky to be a doctor.

Message: I remember when Carly was first introduced on the show she was at Medical school in Tahiti.
If you've ever been to Tahiti, as I have, you know that Tahiti is not known for its medical schools. It is not a place you go for a prestigious degree.
Tahiti is a wonderful place for many things. Becoming a doctor isn't one of them. That could explain her abilities, or lack thereof.
On the other hand, it will probably qualify her for Chief of Staff down the road

Message: Totally disagree. Crystal Chappell is the most talented actress on the show right now and I loved Bo and Carly back in the day, love Carly now. If anyone is over-rated, it's Hope.

I'm MONDO tired of how violent the Carly, Viv, Mel, Bo, Hope and Victor storyline has become. Viv is a bonefide whack-o, but at this point so is Carly. I hate the way Carly keeps telling Viv that she's going to kill her. I hate the bad judgement everybody is showing about Viv walking among them. This is a person capable of anything, torture, murder--she thinks it's a clever game of sorts. And what were we supposed to think about Victor stepping over Carly's crumpled body in front of his house to pick up his morning newspaper? It's as if Salem is full of nothing but the worse trash. Suddenly everybody is lower than low. (oh, and is there anyone who's more of a lowlife than Ej these days!!)

Message: I'm not liking Carly much now. Ever since she went to Maggie's the day of Mickey's funeral and Hope was so hurt - that burned my ass. I have no use for her.

Message: ICAM w/Fee. Doctors aren't usually equipped to handle emergencies in the field, but EMTs are. She called 9-1-1, which is all she could do in the situation. Hope wasn't her patient either. I think it would be agreed on by BOTH Hope & Carly that Carly would never treat Hope, with or without Hope's permission.

Message: She couldn't help Hope anyway, and she called the ambulance. She did check her out. And if she had stayed with Hope her daughter would have been toast. She did what she could and moved on to the next patient, which to me is correct procedure. As for what she did when she GOT to the next patient, totally different story! She was totally hopeless with Melanie. I actually said this, I think, in my post above. She was HOPELESS and it's a really good thing Lexie was there. But I believe that is WHY doctors are NOT supposed to work on their own family. I don't think she is the only doctor in the world that would react like that. I am usually very calm in emergencies, and the one people turn to. However, when Pa had fallen, and they told me to call an ambulance, I picked up the phone book and started looking through the yellow pages for ambulance. I am normally NOWHERE near that stupid! My son-in-law looks at me, and says, why don't you just call 9-1-1? (DUH!!!!) So no, I think it's normal under the circumstances, even for a doctor to react that way. Cuz really, doctors are human. They aren't supermen.

I'm sick of Carly Manning also. She has to be the world's worst doctor.
I know that a lot of people on this forum thinks that she is beautiful. I think she is terribly two-faced. If you are a fan of Jerry Seinfeld you know exactly what I mean.
