We just did the same story line a few years back, Whole killed Colin (whats his name)

Here we are doing the same stupid thing again, for writers making 20,000 a week it must be easy money. Remember how they drug out the colin story and after all that he shows up on the Island still alive! Thank God for Fast Forward (TGFFF)

I think it was John. Remember when he attacked Trent because of Marlena? He could kill Trent and then get off because he was brainwashed, or insane, or something. Besides, NO ONE stays, or even goes, to jail for any crime.

(1) Writers make $20,000 a week? Soap writers? That's over $1,000,000 a year - I don't think so!

(2) I think the killer is probably one of the people that Trent owes his gambling debts to. Or, as the prior poster suggested, Alice... :o)

Of course the killer isn't Mrs. Brady OR Nick OR Melanie OR Nicole OR Max......it'll turn out to be some unknown like the guy that talked to Trent on the phone...the one he owed money to.

Ok, here's my take. Trent received many vistors the night he was killed. Max, Nick, Melanie, Nicole and Caroline all stopped by to give him a piece of their minds. Max obviously got a little phisical with old Trent. The blood and scratches on his back were new. Nick's hand could have been bruised with the earlier altercation or else he might have also gotten phisical with Trent during his visit. Melanie slipped back to have another talk with dear old dad and swipped his wallet.

I think we can rule out Caroline as a suspect, even though I'm sure she'll be arrested. Trent was already injured when he stumbled upon Mrs. Brady. She was just an idiot to pull out the knife.

I think we can rule out both Nick and Melanie as I just don't see either of them being able to murder someone. I also don't think Max or Nicole did it, unless Nicole paid someone off.

I believe that the killer was either Claude or Niko. While I'm not sure why Victor called Niko nor why Victor would want Trent dead, we know that Niko is Victor's henchman.

Just my thoughts. . .

I do. But that's just because I had to stop drinking in 1979. In my own defense, however, I must explain that, most times, I'm also editing scholarly articles of biblical interpretation during that time. They kinda cancel each other out ... eom\nansky

ROTFLMAO - - Good point, theda!!! And if one starts off sober watching the show - by the '2nd half' you're running for a bottle...of something. No wonder everybody on Days are always drinking their faces off!! This show will drive you to it!!
