Additional Comments: I have generally liked Lexi in the past but lately she's really been annoying me. She's so emotional and needy all of the time. It's like she's on the verge of a breakdown at any time. The way she totally overreacted with Theo and the photoshoot and then the whole Marino murder. I found my eyes rolling around in my head so much I thought they'd roll right out! Lexi is a doctor. She was the chief of staff. Why can't she be portrayed as a strong, independent woman? Sure, she's going through a lot with Theo but I'd like to see her do more than furrow her brow and wring her hands all time. Now she's the mayor's wife. Can't we finally see Lexi grow up and act like a mature adult for once?

Message: YOu make very good points, however, none of us know how Lexie really feels. Obviously she is afraid for Theo. A mother of special needs kids must feel somewhat different than others. I can't relate, however, I do have a Downs(not comparing Downs w/Autism, mind you!) brother and I knew that was stressful on my parents - especially my mom. I agree with Fluff below, Renee Jones is gorgeous. I like the character of Lexie very much, and I FEEL for her.

Message: I love Renee Jones and I feel she is one of the top actors/actresses on the show, not to mention stunningly beautiful. The woman never ages and doesn't look like she's OD'd on plastic surgery (ahem....Marlene, Kate, Roman). However I must agree with all of you. She's so whiny, needy and freaking out over Theo. Abe is a saint dealing with her. Everyone seems to deal with Theo better than Lexie does. She's wound so tight and needs to loosen up.

I'm just waiting to see how long it takes for Lexi to have an affair. Anytime the writers can't figure out what to do with her she gets a boyfriend and sneaks around which I find pretty boring and very predictible. Abe's campaign manager would be my first choice for who she hooks up with once Abe becomes busy and distracted by his new job as mayor. The autism storyline started out sort of interesting but it has now become just another stale dragged out thing that never really goes anywhere and Lexi's whining about it is getting old.
And P.S..........WHERE IS STEVE? WHERE IS KAYLA? WHERE IS BABY JOE? WHY SO MUCH OF THE BORING M&M'S (MAX & MELANIE)? WHY, WHY, WHY?

Message: I agree with both the top post and the one below. TPTB have changed Lexi and it has not been in a good way.She is not the first parent to have a disabled child, nor will she be the last, but she is acting like just that. TPTB have made her into a whimp. She should be especially strong now, working with Theo (and Abe)NOT acting like it is the end of the world and there is nothing she can do about it. As a doctor, she should be using her intellect and resources to research his disability and work to find answers for his own situation. She is NOT helping him, with her present behavior, and he is going to feed off her negativity which is only going to make his behavior negative. There could be so much positive information in this SL, but TPTB waste so much valuable time and effort.

Message: Did you ever hit the nail on the head. Lexie has been rather annoying ever since Theo was diagnosed with Autism. She certainly doesn't act like a professional doctor! But then again, she's just following the rest of the female cast (except for Hope, Granny Brady, and Kate) who are ALL needy, whinny and basically wimpy. It gets boring! Days need some strong women!
