I wonder if today's Sami's extreme happiness about finding out the truth about Sydney is a big setup for the intense rage EJ will have when he finds out about Nicole's deception. Will he explode into a postal meltdown?

I don't know, but I am also waiting for the big twist to come in this case. Is Sydney really his child? I hope that this gets straightened out soon, so that Sydney can have as normal a life as possible. She is getting older, and hopefully she will soon have some stability in her life.

I think we may all be wrong on someone other than EJ being Sydney's father.

Way back EJ insisted on a DNA test on Sydney. I don't remember the reasoning for that, but Stefano had that DNA test changed to show that Nicole was the mother. He surely did NOT change the father to EJ if it was someone else's baby. He did it in order to keep EJ's baby and to make sure that Sami didn't show as the mother.

I just don't see any way that the writers will convince anyone that the baby is not EJ's. And for Brandon or some other man from her past???? I don't think so.

Thanks for writing. I hope Lucas is able to financially support the baby. Also, Kate will have more reasons to make Sami's life miserable. Plus, Sydney would no longer have Stefano's protection. I also heard online that Faye, Nicole's mother, is coming back. Maybe Nicole's brother Brandon, whom Sami once adored, is the real father of Sydney (through a secret visit to Sami we don't know about). These ideas should throw further problems into the storyline. C'mon, of course these lame writers can do that..though I doubt they will. Maybe they'll say it is (GASP!) Stefano's. Imagine Stefano putting a spell on Sami and having that looney henchman artificially inseminate her. He already killed off Tony..he needs to increase his offspring. Maybe it could be Dr. Humpy's and he and Cloe can raise Sidney since she can't reproduce anymore... the possibilities are endless...

DNA tests, according to soaps, can be manipulated and changed. Maybe this is why Stefano was so interested in keeping Sydney close to him. They say a man can produce sperm until age 90, so maybe ol' Stefano ain't so much out of the ballpark yet. You made my day, lol. What if Chloe were the real mother, too, with her own fertility tests changed by Stefano? The plot thickens, and the possibilities are endless. Stefano thinks Sami is the ultimate stooge, anyway. Stay tuned, because you know that all this drama will end by the end of November sweeps. I think the new December story will be Carly, Bo, Hope (yawn), with their own exciting conclusion in May 2010 sweeps. H.

That's what I read about elsewhere online. Remember all the men Sami almost married? I speculate that the baby could be one of theirs, or perhaps as someone else suggested maybe it is ol' Stefano's through artificial insemination. Artificial insemination done with dogs all the time, and nobody thinks anything of it (it is done with another dog; don't laugh; I didn't mean between human and dog). Veterinarians will lol when they see this. Hyacinthe.

It has to be EJ's child. Lucas was in jail at the time and I highly doubt Sami was sleeping with anyone else.

Unless the writers decide to confuse us and do a "history rewrite"...

I real elsewhere that James Scott says there will be a major twist, and ppl are speculating that it is about EJ not being the father. Maybe Brandon or Austin sneaked back in the night, which we do not know about. Hyacinthe.

It wouldn't be the first time there was conception that the audience wasn't aware of. When Hope was pregant with Zack the audience didn't know that Bo and Hope had even 'been together'. The suspects for father were John Black and Stephano. Later never before seen 'flashbacks' to a time they were both in France showed that Bo (under mind control) and Hope (as Princess Gina) conceived Zack.

Then, I hope James Scott gets nominated for best dramatic actor on soaps, if there is such an award.
