Topic: How Old is Melanie suppose to be?

I thought I heard Max say Melanie was suppose to have just turn 18?  Did I hear right?

If so, what was she doing at 17, trying to seduce Philip, and he going along with it for a long moment. Plus, at 17, should she had been living with Nick?

You're Right on both counts, Poetist - 100%...ive been talking about that in posts  here for awhile...so have other posters...its wrong and gross...no justifications or excuses.

 Just a theory, but im guessing the clueless writers realized the problem/situation a lttle late and thats why out of nowhere on friday shes being wished happy birthday from everyone and  CrazyNick is jumping out of corners throwing Bday cakes at her...and of course it just happens to be her 18th...you know, the one the writers can give her that -at least in the future_makes all the shennanigans legal...
