Additional Comments: The new TV Guide for next week arrived in the mail yesterday and I found a very disturbing spoiler in the Soap Section. The blurb began about how soaps today have all of these veteran actors who see very little screen time due to the mother lode being given to the younger and what TPTB deem more watchable and interesting characters. They specifically singled out Peggy McKay (Ma Brady on Days) and talked about all of the touching scenes she had when Shawn passed away earlier in the year. They then said that sometime this month a "Salem baddie will be found murdered at Shawn's grave and Carolyn will be found standing there holding a bloody knife." WTF is up with that? I'm sure the "Baddie" will be the dirty Professor Robbins and the connection will be Max but why Carolyn? And please tell me this is not some redux of the Salem Serial Killer crap that stole the ratings for awhile until they decided to make it into some cartoon-fantasy-island-on-angel-dust caper that ended up really sucking. The graveyard stuff makes me especially nervous; I felt like Marlena chased Doug for days in the graveyard before she managed to "kill" him during all that baloney prior to Melaswen.

Message: Well, they've been busily setting up people with motives to kill Trent. So far we have Marlena, John, Nicole, Max and Caroline....oh and the daughter. Maybe Stephanie will make the list before it's over. She'll hate Trent for having spawned Melanie.
Not to worry. We all know it will be none of these people.
They seem to have dropped the 'Max is a genius' storyline, by the way.
