In my opinion.........the show was Wednesday was extremely boring. The writing on this show has become so predictable that I can see the future of this show even without spoilers. Yep, Nicole's gonna lose her child, then her character will do stupid stuff to try and stay in EJ's good graces. While I'm talking about Nicole-I will say that while I like the actress and have always thought the character has potential, they are doing an abismal job writing her character. Her character can be written much better than how she is.
I think the writers have no idea what to do with Phillip's character. Putting him with Chelsea and Melanie makes zero sense to me.
I still haven't figured out why they've brought this new police guard (don't know his name) in to interact with Sami. He seems useless. Meanwhile, Sami is continuing to show the audience that she can become stupider even after that agonizing "vendetta" story when I myself thought she was as dumb as possible.
Dr. Jonas continues to be a useless character that gets too much screen time.
Yet I hear they're bringing Brady back. I'm predicting right now that the whole storyline will fail. This show has a history of failures with recasts. (Kate is one of the few exceptions, and oldStephanie wasn't on very long-of course some still don't like the current one.)
Were Vivian and Ivan antics really that insulting to KC?? I thought they were kinda entertaining.
See......the current writing is why I can't watch this show loyally anymore. Seriously, when the show starts, I already am already watching the VCR timer to see how much time is left on the clock. I really respect all of you who watch it live. Without the VCR, I know I wouldn't be watching it anymore.

Message: About the only thing I enjoyed about Wednesdays's episode was at least we did get to see John and Marlena. Other than that it was another episode dealing with the teenybopper/twentysomething set and their unresolved feelings about and with each other. I wish they would pair Philip with someone more mature than Stephanie. I was jumping for joy when she and Max split up in hopes that they would be onscreen less but it is not to be. If that's the best they can come up with for November sweeps they may be in bigger trouble ratings wise than ever although I agree that the Sami and Rafe exchanges have been pretty good and definitely do remind me of the days when Roman and Marlena first were introduced and spent much of their time sparring back and forth like Sami and Rafe are doing now. I'm hoping NuBrady shows up soon too; that should rock Nicole and Chloe's worlds.

If you are so dissapointed with the show and you find it so predictable, why do you still watch it?
I think we all get a little frustrated with the storylines from time to time, but SOMETHING keeps us watching !!! I have watched Days since about 1982 (and before that summers only) but I had to say No when Deidre Hall got possessed by the devil. I came back towards the end of Mimi being on the show.
I'm enjoying Sami and Rafe. It's like a flashback from when Roman protected Marlena and slept on her floor.
