Additional Comments: I was never a Passions watcher but I did catch bits and pieces of it over the years when my vcr would turn on a bit before Days started and Passions ended and I always thought the actor who played Ethan was not only decent actor but pretty easy on the eyes. I thought his arrival in Salem yesterday as Brady was very good and it was interesting to see he and John in a scene together because they do bear some physical resemblance to each other. John of course reacted to seeing his son for the first time since he became NuJohn the way you would expect; apathetic and almost downright cold but I really liked the scenes between John, Marlena and Brady so I'm hopeful of after having suffered the summer of the M&M's (Max & Melanie) that we finally get a new male lead with some acting chops and not to mention good looks and yesterday's initial appearance did not disappoint. I'm already wondering who he's going to get paired up with.

Yessireeeeee!!! How nice to finally have the character played by a human - instead of an ugly neanderthal. It totally changes the feel of the character. When I saw this new kid, I thought - oh NOW I get the whole Brady character - whole different ballgame. And when Nadia says in her interview that Kyle Ucko is "sad" that Bwady got recast -- - puhleeeze!! boohoo. This Kyle-bacteria is lucky ANYONE would hire him - and that he didn't fully destroy the Brady character forever.

Here's another positive vote for nuBrady. Sweet face, sweet nature - a lovely package. And the boy can act. He knows how to do subtlety, the ''less is more'' school of acting which can be so powerful. I hope we see a lot more of him. As for Kyle Lowder (old Brady) the less said, the better.

I like nuBrady, much better than the last one and I think the pairing of Brady with Chloe or Nicole would be good, both of them looked great together! He's a real looker and it appears he can act too (always a plus)!

If you think you disliked him on Days you don't want to go near the Bold & The Beautiful right now. His main facial express is currently sticking out his lower lip and pouting like a petulant child when he doesn't get his way. I'm hoping this Brady is also a non-vocalist so we don't have any more Chloe/Brady songfests. I do remember this actor who plays NuBrady participating in some ' 'Bollywood' ' sequence on Passions but I think it was mainly dancing. Here's hoping. eom. Calliope.

You're totally right, calliope...Nubrady did make a good impression to the fans and come across as maybe actually having a bit of depth. Good stuff.

You did make one interesting comment however...you're hoping that DOOL might actually aquire 'A male lead with some acting chops'...

Let me point out that we already have one on DOOL: His name is JKJ...oh...and peter reckell,blake berris, stephen nichols, joe mascolo, james reynolds, john aniston, thao penghils etc ;)

My mistake was in my wording as I agree totally about the actors you mentioned as having great acting chops. My comparison was meant for characters like Max, Stephanie, Jeremy and Jett from a few Summers ago and that set (although Chelsea has shown real improvement in the past couple of years.) I love all of the characters that you mentioned and have most of them for years. I also greatly prefer this Phillip K. to the last one. He's much more interesting. eom. Calliope.

The NuBrady is a real honey! I was also impressed with the scenes he had with Marlena and NuJohn. He is a decent actor and certainly eye candy. I hated the original Brady - thought he was homely! lol
