Another poster on this board - in another thread (the one i posted about phillip and all his women, i think) very astutely brought up a subject that i also have noticed for quite awhile on the show that just can't seem to stop striking me as so freaking ODD! And that is:
Max - when he's around stephanie - refering to kayla (his big sister) as 'her mom' instead of his sister
Stephanie - when she's around max - referring to caroline (her grandmother) as 'your mom' rather than 'granma'
Max - when he's around stephanie - referring to caroline (his mother) as 'your granma' instead of 'Mom'
Some of chelsea's weird labels for katieho (her GM) and caroline as well...
Etc...Etc...Etc...Theres several other examples of this...its just weird...right?

Message: I guess I've missed any other references to Chelsea's grandmother's other than "Grandma Kate" and "Grandma Caroline" except for recently Chelsea did say that she was now calling Grandma Kate just "Kate" because of her relationship with Daniel. That was the only difference I had noticed but she explained the reason.

Message: As weird as it is, yes, I have noticed it too. It especially jumped out at me the other day, when Stephanie said, lets go see your mom in jail. I thought, why didn't you say, visit grandma in jail?
