Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins Saturday, the hospital where she was staying announced on a phone recording.Last week, Jolie's obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, held a press conference to let reporters know the twins were due "in the weeks to come."Everything is normal," Sussmann said. "Everything is going well."

Beau Brad Pitt was photographed on Tuesday at the hospital. He was there with son Pax, 4.

Jolie previously received visits from Maddox, 6, as well as daughters Shiloh, 2, and Zahara, 3.The actress, 33, checked into the hospital at the end of June via helicopter, local newspaper Nice Matin reported

I'm so bored with these constant reports that Angelina has given birth. Who comes up with this crap when it's so totally untrue? Argh. You can't believe anything you read.

An InTouch report that Angelina Jolie delivered her twins at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France is wrong, a hospital rep told Usmagazine.com Saturday.

"It's not true. The story is not true," the rep told Us.

InTouch posted an exclusive story reporting Jolie had a cesarean Saturday at 6 p.m. French time and delivered two girls, one at 6:45 p.m. and one at 7 p.m.

When Jolie gives birth, the news will be posted on the hospital's site, a rep told Extra, which first confirmed the rumor was wrong.

Reps for Jolie and beau Brad Pitt never confirmed the rumor.

Angelina Jolie has given birth to her twins, sources at the La Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France, have revealed to In Touch.

According to insiders, the 33-year-old actress had a caesarean today at 6pm French time and delivered two healthy girls. The first baby was born at 6:45 pm and the other at 7pm. Sources say partner Brad Pitt was present during the birth.

The hospital’s spokesperson, Nadine Bauer, said that media would not be notified ”within minutes” after the birth and that the only way they would be told was by a press release posted on the hospital Web site. Another insider adds that Angelina is expected to leave the hospital with her
