The company I work for does Halloween up right every year. They have a costume contest and also a Halloween decorating contest. The different departments go all out choosing themes and basically turning their workspaces into sets. This year is no exception, it's absolutely amazing to walk through the building and see all the creativity.
As I type this, I'm wearing my vintage 1960s Girl Scout uniform and have chocolate chip cookies for visitors to my office. (Our celebration always includes lots of treats.) Mine looks identical to this except I also have the matching dark green beret:

Anyone else celebrating Halloween at work or school today?

Cute costume... and I like the handing out of the cookies! :)
I gave a Halloween party at work today but didn't have time (or energy) to dress up. I wore black pants, pumpkin orange tank, black shrug and had on my spider and web pin. One cook had on a Halloween scrub top and that was it. I managed to get ALL the residents dressed up.
Pirate (hat, earring, make up and patch)
Kitty cat (ears, make up and faux fur made sort of like a bib)
Rabbit ears
Clown (wig, long patterned overcoat, make up and big bow tie) She won 1st place and didn't want to remove her red nose or jacket before supper! LOL
dracula (cape and make up, she won 2nd place)
bumble bee (sort of a pull over bib and 2 big wings at the back, make up)
mouse (made faux fur ears and cut out bib thing) The bibs worked great for those that couldn't get out of their wheel chair or broda chair
magic wand (for a guy)
blue bunny ears (for another guy)
old man hat and tie (on an old man)! LOL
I had mini pumpkins and candy for everyone in a costume and 2 light up pumpkin necklaces for the two best costumes (went to dracula and clown)
Baked 24 cupcakes and decorated with orange ball sprinkles and some with chocolate flakes. All had gummy spiders on the top. Served diet orange soda and coffee to drink.
Decorated the entire recreation area with balloons, white tablecloths, metal witches hat, metal lantern, metal ghost and fence candle holder, black and orange cloth centerpieces with pumpkins on them, black and orange streamer ribbon.
Here's the cupcakes:

Nope...I think I may be one of the only people that has no use for Halloween. My son is 13 this year and is not interested at all. I'm glad. I did it up good each year when he was interested.
Cute costume btw

And, so many people I know are going nuts with costumes and bar hopping the next two days. I'm so NOT partaking. I've got some job apps, cleaning and other little things to do this weekend. Plus, the guy I'm seeing is out of town for work and I'm a little down and distracted by that.

Well, I'm getting ready to put on my job interview custome once again. Does that count?

Just been wearing my Halloween socks, earrings, pin all week. We work tomorrow, so might add an wig.
But we have lots of older customers and they don't get its Halloween, LOL

As much fun as dressing up would be; I work at an Alzheimer's research center. It would just be plain ol' mean to subject our demented research participants to staff in costumes:-)
One year tellers at the bank we used at that time all dressed up as different color crayons. So while each costume was alike, each was a different color. I thought it was a cute idea particularly since the tellers routinely wore matching/uniform attire.
Many years ago at an office I worked in, we each came dressed as our favorite holiday. We had a Santa, a Christmas tree, a pilgrim, a veteran, a black cat, and Uncle Sam among others.
