Ok, I'll start by saying that I'm not a huge American Idol fan. That's not to say I won't catch it from time to time, especially as it nears the end. I heard on the radio this morning that they are adding a fourth judge to the mix. For those of you who are big fans of the show, what do you think of that? My opinion: I know the show's ratings have been slipping in past years and they're trying to spruce things up a bit, but I can't quite get why they'd mess with the dynamic between Simon, Paula & Randy. On second thought...I guess it might just work, in that they've peaked my curiosity enough so that I just might tune in to see...

Message: Paula has been having very severe health problems for years-much more severe than what has been reported in the media (can't say why I know this) -but she really suffers, so I wonder if adding another judge is a way to allow the audience to become accustomed to the dynamic of another person in case Paula needs to take time off or even leave the show?
