Additional Comments: Well, I must be turning into a mom already :-) I went for warm, on-sale (cheap) and practical. It's down, has a hood, and is water-proof :-)

cc-that coat you liked is at the "Dollyrocker" http://www.shopdollyrocker.com/detail.aspx?ID=2987. let me know if you can find it. The brand is "Twill 22" They used to be made here in WA, but are now made overseas. The owners still design the coats here. They are such cute/comfy coats.

Very nice!   Love the color!

Luckily we are putting away our coats.  I don't want to see a winter/warm coat until fall.

I certainly don't need a coat and won't be looking for one until probably November (if at all..this past winter, I didn't even have a coat!  I just wore my hoodies), but I like that one!  Totally cute :)

  • It was a $200.00 coat marked to $39.00. I hope it's cute when it shows up. If not, I can return it. I love green and it looks warm :-) Lisa P

That is very practical & very different from the others you posted!  Thanks for the link.  You have such cool places to shop.  Do you spend a lot of time online looking for neat stuff or do you already know these places?  I love so many of the things you post pics of, but can't imagine that I'd have ever found them on my own.

Wait until your little one gets here!  I bet that will cut into your shopping time!  Most of the time I am happy to grab a t-shirt at Target when I am on a diaper run.  Or if I'm lucky, something fun at TJMaxx.

Jam hands?  Is that what I hear you calling her?  Jam Hands?  LOL

  • I have certain brands I like. I don't buy the majority of the stuff I post. I just like fashion :-) I also love the cute or ugly posts. It's fun to see other people's taste. Just a past time of mine. I guess I need a life. Once *Jam hands* gets here I'll be more busy. Yes, that is her nickname right now :-)) Lisa P
  • P.S. I don't go the mall anymore. I only go to Ross, or shop online. I don't care for the crowds. Lisa P
  • I loathe the mall. But my daughter is getting to the age where she wants to shop..............and she wants to shop at the mall. Ugh. I love fashion too & enjoy all of the fashion posts. cc
  • I used to love the mall, but it's so crowded, and our mall is so high end. I can't afford a lot of the stores there. Plus, it's easier to find what you want online. I am sure I'll have to get into the mall again someday. How old is your daughter? I am looking forward to buying mine boots and coats :-) Lisa P
  • ........buying her boots & jackets..........hahaha. Hey, they have some pretty cute Doc Martens for kids! cc
  • My daughter is almost 11. In the last 6 months she went from wanting to wear only gray & black & everything loose. Nothing could be fitted. Now she wants fitted clothes, but she is still ticked that she needs a bra, & color is okay again. It's been funny to watch. I think she went through a phase where she wanted to declare that she was no longer into Barbie & princesses, thus no pink or feminine colors. We've had some fun talks about style & fashion. How it can be okay to wear what you like instead of thinking you have to wear what is in style. Not that we don't want to be in style! I think style is more individual..... it's more than just wearing what is IN right now. Sometimes combat boots are just not appropriate. But sometimes you put on your combat boots & you show your style. cc
