I have to come clean and admit that this Topic was largely inspired by our very own Nicki lol.
Your Favorite All-Time Sitcom/Comedy?
For me, I would have to say that Cheers, Friends and All In The Family (way before my time but Ive seen classic episodes) always stood out in my mind for Best Writing. The Simpsons was very funny sometimes too.
Your Favorite All-Time Drama?
For me, I think, during its early and mid-years, ER was classic. LA Law and St Elsewhere were pretty strong in early years as well. I feel like most dramas end up becoming parodies of themselves in later years though.
Your Favorite Cop Show?
This one is easy for me, because I will always believe that The Shield is one of the all-time best tv shows of all-time in general anyways, sooooo...
I understand that Hillstreet Blues was pretty strong in many folk's minds, but that show was waaaaaaaaay before my time.
Feel free to add any categories you like!!! :)

Your Favorite All-Time Sitcom/Comedy?
I loved All in the Family, Three's Company, & The Odd Couple back in the 70s. My favorites in the 80s were Designing Women and Golden Girls. Current favs are Big Bang Theory & Two and a Half Men. But I must say my all time, all around favorite Sitcom has to be The Andy Griffith Show.
Your Favorite All-Time Drama?
I loved Knots Landing and Dynasty...was glued to the TV every Wednesday & Thursday night!
Your Favorite Cop Show?
Miami Vice in the 80s. Loved that Crockett! Oh and Magnum PI was good too. So was Simon & Simon but they weren't cops...they were private detectives. But my favorite now is The Mentalist. I guess the California Bureau of Investigation counts as cops!

Your Favorite All-Time Drama?
Knots Landing. Best nighttime soap ever.
Your Favorite Cop Show?
Barney Miller. Never have been big on cop dramas.
Hi, Chris!
Comedy? Absolutely, no question: Third Rock From The Sun (not to be confused with 30 Rock)
I could watch it over and over, brilliantly written and acted. John Lithgow kind of icks me out as himself, but I love him as Dick Solomon.Frasier and the Simpsons rank pretty high, too. Scrubs was excellent in its first three or four years. Janitor rules!!! Three's Company is probably my favorite classic. John ritter was incredible. I was a big fan of 8 Simple Rules and think it would have been big had he not died so unexpectedly. Oh, and of course, Everybody Loves Raymond. Peter Boyle, Brad Garrett and Marie (for get her real name) made the show.
Medical show? ER, hands down. I can't think of any other that came close and for the most part, it was brilliant throughout its run. Although I do love House, but it's not for the medical part. I'm just in it to see what outrageous thing House will do or say next, and also like the intricacies of his personality.
Cop Shows? DEXTER!! DEXTER!! L & O SVU. Can we throw in PI shows, too? Magnum, PI There was a short series on PBS (not the USA network version) called Touching Evil that was pretty intense, too.
Nighttime soap opera? Knots Landing
Cartoon? Pinky and the Brain! (Narf!) Peanuts, Garfield, Tom and Jerry (original)
I'm sure I'm forgetting loads.
Chris, regarding your email, it never showed up. Want me to get back to you when I get a hotmail or yahoo type email set up? (I don't want you to think I was ignoring you!)
