Additional Comments:

here is my list......

new shows.....

Eastwick- I barely got through one epi- then never tuned in again.

Flash Forward- eh, I am hanging in....last epi was ok, but none measure up to the premiere episode.

Cougartown- as much as I like Courteney Cox, and was looking forward to this one....I lasted through 3 episodes and then gave up....I much prefer her on Friends :O(

Mercy- Love it....especially Michelle Trachetenbergs nurse storyline (Chloe)

Trauma - I am sad about this one, I heard it was cancelled, I thought it was good and a very fast paced medical show :O(

The Beautiful Life- I watched one epi, then it was cancelled.....didn't like it anyway.

Melrose Place- Personally I love it, but I heard that Ashlee Simpsons character/Or Ashlee herself was written off, which is too bad because I was enjoying her storyline. I am looking forward to seeing Heather Locklear on.

Vampire Diaries- LOVE it.

V the series is premiering this week, so that is another one I am tuning into.

Old Shows.....still loving Ghost Whisperer, Medium, Fringe,Big bang theory, 90210 and a few others....I almost gave up on Heroes but it seems to have sucked me back in..lol..

I do not watch as much TV reg. station shows like i used to. Or I forget. I have comcast on Demand, so I can catch up on shows I miss.

I do like Mercy but keep forgetting to watch it in real time. I live ABC Wed night shows, Middle, Modern family, Cougar town. I have tried to watch Eastwick but don't get it. Not sure on Hank and I so like Kelsey GRAMMER>

I LOVE MY MAD MEN< MISSING True Blood, Big Love, Weeds (HBO and Showtime shows)

I watch some of Jay Leno, but its too much of him. I still watch Sat. night live. I love 30 Rock, office those Th. night shows.

I miss ER, even tho the last couple of years were not so good.

I tried to watch Flash forward and too hard to watch. Never heard of V.

Oh love the Good Wife, another one I forget when its on. But I catch up with it later. Sometimes I watch Survivor. I like Super Nanny and ugly Betty when I remember to watch them, LOL

  • Oh I sometimes watch Biggest loser and Dancing with the stars, not all the time. Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters on Sunday night. Ha, guess I do watch alot of TV. not even counting my Soaps! But I record or DVR alot so don't always watch in real time. ~~Bon
  • I forgot about Big Love, that is a great show. eom-Nicki

I don't think we are really watching too many of the new shows.

"Accidently on Purpose" only because it is on in the middle of other shows we watch on Monday, don't care that much for it.

I have watched "The Middle" a couple times, I like it OK. Hated "Cougar Town", so-so on "Modern Family", but it comes on same time as "Glee" and I don't Tivo, so "Glee" wins.

    What we (I) watch:

"How I Met Your Mother", "Big Bang Theory", Hubby loves "2 and a Half Men", "Lie to Me", "Castle" (I love Natan Fillion!!), "New...Old Christine", "Glee", "The Office", "Parks and Rec", "30 Rock", "Medium", Desperate Housewives", and just about anything on HGTV, DIY, and Style!

Can't miss "The Ellen DeGeneres" show, she always makes me smile. And my British ladies, Kim and Aggie in "How Clean is Your House?" on BBC America! I get up at 7 am just to see them!

    New Shows:

Flash Forward - I'm liking it but still wondering where we're going with it all.  I'm still interested though and will continue to watch.

Cougar Town - watched about 15 minutes, thought it was stupid, turned the channel.

Modern Family (or something like that) - same as above!

Mercy - Not as good as I'd hoped.  I'm a huge Grey's Anatomy fan so I guess that's what I'm comparing it to.  But I'm going to give it a chance.

Three Rivers - Another medical drama.  I really like it but I've heard the ratings aren't that great.  I hope that changes cuz I think this one has potential.

    Old Shows:

House - Love it, love it, LOVE IT.  One of my favorite shows.

Grey's Anatomy - same as above

Private Practice - I'm trying to hang in there with this one, but they need to make some changes to keep me hooked.

The Mentalist - Still love it, Simon Baker so sooooooo cute!

Survivor, American Idol and Big Brother are the 3 reality shows that I keep up with.

Still waiting on LOST to come back.  I HATE that we have to wait SO LONG between seasons.  This used to be my very favorite show but am slowing losing interest.  A few of the stars are showing up on different shows.  Two of them are on Flash Forward.

  • Oh yeah, forgot to mention I will probably watch V tonight although I'm not a big SciFi fan...but there's been so much hype about it I'll have to see what it's all about. GJ
  • Oh, and a P.S.S. I forgot about Big Bang Theory. I like it in all it's geekiness! And still watch Desperate Housewives. GJ
  • Yeah, where is ''Lost''?? I usually have to watch the last few episodes on DVD before the new ones start so I know what is going on....eom Candy Girl
  • I was intrigued by Flash Forward, that first epi was awesome....now I am just hanging in there. I have never been into medical dramas, but am enjoying Mercy, I love Michelle Trachtenberg's character, she is so cute. eom-Nciki

No new series but I may try V when it comes on tonight(?).

I'm still watching the Big Bang Theory.  Sheldon reminds me so much of someone I used to know.

  • Big Bang Theory is so cute, what a great sitcom, very original ..I love the dialogue...and Sheldon is great! eom-Nicki
  • Sheldon was hilarious last night when he started spouting football facts. I said to myself
  • Dang it, I keep forgetting about the stoopid quotation marks! Anyway I said to myself ''He knows football 'cuz he is from Texas'', and that was exactly what he said....eom Candy Girl

Nix...I know its not technically a ''New'' show this year, but I would like to say something to you about a show in its sophomore year if that is ok?

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Luke Perry to some ''Guest Starring'' on 90210!!!

I understand that LP is on record as saying ''Never'' and that he only came back to the original 90210 the first time for his second stint as a personal favor to Aaron Spelling, but...Still...you Never say 'Never' in Holywood!!!

    Chris

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • Hey, I thought I was LP? :-) I was all confused when I read your post :-) Lisa P
  • Well, considering the 'Team' i play for, you are DEFINITELY a 'Nicer-To-Look-At' LP than Luke Perry is HA HA HA!!! ;-) ... - chris
  • Chris, I would to see a lot of the original cast back...but I don't think it is going to happen, I really like the new 90210 but the original will always be my fave. eom-Nicki
  • The new one is a goos show, I agree, Nix...on the original, it was fun over the years to see the actors grow as actors...the two that i always felt made the most dramatic jumps as actors from the very beginning till the end were probably imo brian AG and Ian Z... - ive always thought Luke Perry was a VERY underrated actor ... i always thought Tori was horrid and shannon and jason just never impressed me as actors...jason in particular used to make me grit my teeth lol!!! ...the later days i loves Tiffany A-T!!! (and, no, NOT just for the obvious reasons LOL!!! ;-) ... - chris
  • I hope I am better looking the Luke Perry. LOL!!! :-) Lisa P

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please tell me it's not true about Trauma! This is the only new show I am watching (religiously!). They have done a wonderful job of building the characters and keeping a fast pace. Although, I did think it was a little too much for them to get in an accident last night after the first epi included the heli accident. No matter, I will be seriously bummed if this show ends.

  • Me too, I absolutely love it, great characters, I love Rabbit, he is kinda hot ..lol...and the other guy the new one, is cute too, I loved the Halloween episode! eom-nciki

I'm watching more tv than I ever have as far as new shows.  The only one I gave up was Community.  I love Joel McHale on Soup but don't care for Community.

I'm hanging in there with FF only because of Charlie from LOST.  I hope it gets better.  Did you know there's only 4 episodes of V?  It won't return until April.  Hubby read that in the paper this morning but I will check it out tonight.

I am loving The Vampire Diaries!  I look forward to seeing Stefan & Damon every week in HD!!!  That's the only new show I have started watching...I knew I was going to get into it.  That entire cast is gorgous to look at!

Still watch: How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, The Office, Parks & Recreation (didn't like this one at first but it has grown on me and just gets funnier).

New Adventures of Old Christine has lost its appeal.

Monday & Thursday are my TV nights...oh, and Family Guy on Sunday night...gotta have my Family Guy fix!!!  Brian & Stewie Rock!  :-)))

Hmmm I think the only new show I have watched and liked is "the Middle" with Patricia Heaton.  I do get some good laughs from that.

I mostly do sit-coms and some reality TV ( Amazing race, Survivor, Real Housewives etc )

dont watch the drams like CSI, NCIS...I have enough Drama in my real life. LOL

I also am one of the few people, apparently, that are watching Jay Leno and actually enjoying his show .

  • I love sitcoms, but am very picky when it comes to them, I haven't picked up any new sitcoms this season...the last one I liked was The Big Bamg Theory. eom-Nicki
