Additional Comments: Hi I read your response over there. And I should not bring it over here. But I want to thank you for the message. I was so upset how insenstive they both were.
In case any of you want to know, I wrote on this board, that Days of our lives is doing a Autism story. Seems the Head writer's son has Autism. Then some one made a post on the Days boar that the head writer, was on the Today show with the 2 characters, Abe and Lexie who play the parents of their son who has Autism on the show.
well these 2 on the board there, hate the head writer and stated to say all sort of stupid stuff about lying about her son having Autism and about mental disorders. Got me very upset, I could not think what to write.
But Cgem wrote a good message to those 2, and told them like it is!
So thanks!!

I just made a separate post of my own. Just felt like clarifying things, since I know a lot of people don't really know much about the subject (yet feel the need to spout off about it. LOL)
I missed that whole argument. Had chinese food at the mall Tuesday, and wound up with food poisoning. I just spent about 36 hours in bed. LOL Weirdest freaking stomach bug I've ever had. I was home alone yesterday (boys at school, Stella with the neighbors) and I had the deepest sleep of my life. I kept waking up and trying to call my neighbor for help, but I had double vision so there appeared to be twice as many buttons on the phone, so I couldn't figure out how to dial. LOL Thought I was DYING! My whole body has been aching. But anyway, I've been up for about an hour now, and when I checked the board this was one of the first posts I saw.

Oh, that Kate Dimer has made some incredibly stupid posts before. I've already complained to Michael Gill about her. Perhaps the best thing would be to have others complain about her, too. She should be banned for life. Pure and simple.

However, those two losers aren't worth the keystrokes. They're looking for a reaction, and they're morons. Knowing what a hot-button topic this is among many, I have to suggest--let it go. Don't go back to the topic, and leave it alone over here, too. If you get into it with them, those jerks will get their jollies, and your hearts are going to get hurt. I came close to typing something...but why give them beer muscle?

Message: OH MY GOD...I have two autistic nephews, so I had to go over and read that. I am so f'in furious right now, I could seriously kill that Fashad person!!!!!! He/she needs to be banned forever immediately. People like that are the reason I rarely go to the Days side of the board anymore. I just got so sick of the bashing and negativity. If anyone gets banned it should be the two asinine idiots. Don't let people like that upset you cgem. As you pointed out they are only cowards hiding behind a keyboard. Being ignorant about a subject is one thing but verbally attacking the mentally challenged community is quite another. Their works were beyond cruel. I am a firm believer in you reap what you sow. They will get what is coming to them. I don't watch Days but am curious as to how the storyline plays out. Since there are numerous posters here that are affected by autisim, perhaps someone can do an OT over here.

I hope you don't get banned; what those people were writing was cruel and uncalled for. I couldn't believe how insensitive they were!
I think you held it together pretty well Cgem, and it didn't start a fight, so you'll probably be o.k. Just don't go back and respond to them if they reply (things will get way too heated), that way if anyone is banned it won't be you.
