But I've got to be honest - I have never "taken" to this "holiday". Biggest reason is likely that I always started school the next day so it wasn't a FUN holiday - it was always kind of stressful and we had to go to bed early, etc. But I don't really like Memorial Day, either, so I don't know what my problem is, LOL! Hope everyone enjoys the day!

I know what u mean, exactly. I hated having to go back to school. I still feel bad for the kids today having to go back. eom Fay

Haha, ditto, I work in a school so my first day back is Tuesday. :-P However when I was in school we always started before Labor Day so it was always nice to have a day off right after we started back to school. -Jennifer

I don't care for the holiday myself, but the day off :-) To me it represents school too, which I start. Lisa P
