Subject: Ha, I loved loved LOVED to go to the barbershop w/ my daddy too! But I did not get my hair cut there. I don't know why my daddy got his hair cut there either, unless my mamma just wasn't in the mood to cut it, 'cause before they got married, my mamma was a hairdresser. Oh another place I loved to go with my daddy was to the tailor. I also used to ''shave'' when he shaved. He'd give me an empty razor and I'd put on shaving cream and shave while he shaved. He also taught me how to tie a tie. Gee I did a lotta man stuff when I was little, didn't I? LOL! eom/pm

Subject: Actually I did a lot of stuff with my dad too. Used to always go to the hardware store with him and go to visit his friends that had a dry cleaning shop. Those big pressers or whatever they are called fascinated me. ~~Sandy

Subject: I think I would have loved going to the barber shop with my father, but he didn't have hair...or enough to go to the barber's to cut. Though, my dad loved long hair and would not have dared cut my hair growing up....though my aunt did get it cut on time when I visited....I don't think my father ever forgave her... JuMPer

Subject: That is interesting because I had a hair trauma as a kid. My dad went deer hunting and for some reason we went to my aunt's house. I don't know the reason because my mom didn't really like her much(it was a sister). Anyway I had braids and someone got the bright idea to get my hair cut. My dad got back (deerless as usual) and I was all excited. He looked at me and said, ''You aren't my little girl, where is my little girl?'' I cried.~~Sandy
