Additional Comments: I used to really like Kate and Sonny, but what is her purpose anymore? Just to annoy the heck out of everyone?

It is a real shame that Kate has become just another one dimentional character. Like a lot of soap characters that have suffered this fate, Kate is capable of being SO much more than this! She has the potential to be strong, assertive & a savvy businesswoman. Instead they've made her into this needy, whiney, 'I can't do anything without a big, strong man' character, which is totally unbelieveable!

I said long ago that her NYC roots should come out to her benefit. Instead, they have chosen to make her insultingly less than she should be. I like her w/Sonny, but he was attracted to her feisty independent spirit, which we really don't see much of these days. She is always deferring to some man, whether that is Sonny, Jax or Warren.

That worldwide distributor that she was flustered by was unbelieveable. We're supposed to believe that she has never handled a difficult person before, without having someone like Jax or Sonny step in & save the day?! I don't think so. The better option would have been if they had been present, but she saved the day herself. Jax should support Kate's position, but not step in to save everything. I also don't buy that the distributor never dealt w/a woman, or even Kate, before! That is how he was acting.
