Additional Comments: The scenes of the murder of Claudia were the most vile that I've seen on daytime TV. To see them repeated on Friday as part of an opening montage was coldly calculated to replay the horror that we witnessed earlier in the week. For what? November sweeps? To increase the ratings? How could anyone watch that and not feel repulsed?
Sure I've sometimes seen graphic violence on CSI and NCIS and Law & Order. But I am not invested in the characters. I've been watching and accepting the characters on GH for years. I didn't like Claudia. I even pitied her. But her death scenes were a horror show that far eclipsed her actions.
Now I have not the slightest sympathy for Sonny, Jason and company. As long as I never actually saw what they did, I could lie to myself that somehow they had reasons. But, it is one thing to think that they kill people, it is another thing entirely to see them do it.
I'm hoping for justice but I know it won't come. The Corinthos clan is too big a part of GH.

I agree with you. What made it even harder to watch was the scenes earlier in the show were Claudia was holding the baby and talking to it so sweetly. Now I realize Claudia was out of her mind at the time but still she was coming across as being really sweet to the baby. What Claudia did while she was on the show was no worse then what SCUMMY C. does on a daily basis.
I am a big Sarah Brown fan I hate the way the charactor of Claudia was written. The writers wrote her into a corner. She was trying to protect Johnny when she put the hit out on Sonny. She did not mean for Michael to get shot. God I wish Sonny had been killed.

OMG, that was pretty bad. I think this show went way too far with Claudia's death. I know in the last days she was even more nuts, but even she did not deserve to go like that. When she ordered that hit on Sonny, she was only trying to protect Johnny and herself from Sonny. She had no idea that Michael was going to be there.
