Additional Comments: Just wondering if anyone else thinks that Dante will join the mob? Once it's discovered that he perjured himself in court, he'll be forced out of the the PCPD. The mob is the logical next step. The tension in this scenario will be between Dante and Michael as Sonny's successor.

Message: The storyline was interesting and the reveal exciting. It seems now they don't know where to go with this. It is obvious (NOT A SPOILER, JUST MY SPECULATION), that Dante will change his view on Sonny once he learns that it he is protecting Michael (who is the real killer). After that, it is only a matter of time we will see the inevitable father/sony reconciliation. Then, you know there is no way Dante can continue to be the cop who is trying to crack down the mob presence in Port Charles. He may remain a cop, but he will turn into a big Sonny supporter. Even if Sonny is protecting Michael and even if he was good to Stone/Robin, funded the AIDS Wing at GH, etc. the fact remains that numerous people have been killed by Jason/Sonny. But we can pretty much guess where this story is going.

The whole "I messed up Sonny's arrest" really pissed me off. What? That's just stupid. As is the whole story at this point. Great build up, but it's been downhill since Dante was shot.
I don't think if Dante is fired from being a cop that the mob is the logical next step. Get a job at Starbuck's or something. Anything but mob crap. I can't stand the Johnny and Ethan stuff either. When is this show going to get over shoot outs and mob stuff? It's so old and tired.

Message: I was SO let down when Dante committed purjury. It was one thing to say that asinine junk to agent Raynor, but to take an oath in court and then lie--not something Dante, with his beliefs and standards, would do. And WHY would he? Just another plot device on Guza's part so Sonny doesn't ever get punished for his crimes. He ruins the character of Dante just to contrive that creep's usual 'go free' card.
And of course Sonny won't go to jail for a crime he didn't commit, ie Claudia's death. So once more we are stuck with having to watch this creep poison everything and everyone on this show....
