Topic: Do Women Pay For Being Sessy??? (Thank You, Hele) - A Serious Look

My question was: Do women pay for being hot and sessy?

My answer: No, usually Men pay THEM!!! *BaDa Bing!!!* HA HA HA HA!!!!

Ok, time to be serious. This is indeed ABOUT OLIVIA and I want to thank Hele for helping me Spin this off.

There was this one time when one of my Very Favorite Folks(Hele - a very nice lady) was joshin me (you know how Hele is lol) about only liking O as a a Big favorite of mine for the ''Obvious Reasons'' lol

And Im actually trying to talk seriously about this, because I was thinking about it and I believe I am on to something here.

I understand why folks may not like O.

I like the O.

But NOT only and JUST for the ''Obvious'' reasons - Honest Potatoes!!! - as we say in Texas!!!  (Hey, do yall remember that time Al Gore had to correct that little girl for forgetting the ''E'' that is supposed to be on the end of ''Potatoe''??? - That was FUNNY LOL!!! (I never forget a truly funny moment lol).

Ladies that don't like O, please answer honestly: If O was a UGLACIOUS and not so hot and sessy, would you feel as disapraging towards here still?

You know what? In the year-plus O has been on the show, she has done the BAD THING with a man once (Well, I mean, one man) - (Johnny) so, my point is, she is by no means a Sle-Zut.

Ok. She has ONE kid. Danteominic. So, that tells us that even before she came to PC she wasn't just popping out babies here whole life.

You see where I am going so far with this? Im saying, she is NOT, by any way that can be judged, a babyfactory or slezut or anything like that.

Now. I think she is respectful. She doesn't put moves on Jasper because she knows he used to be married to Car Lee.

No, I don't like how she acts around Sonny, but he IS the father of her son and the marriage to Claudia wasn't a ''Real'' marriage. I still don't think it was right, mind you, Im just sayin.

As for her keeping about the secret what from Sonny bout Donteominic being (another) his kid - can you really and deeply and truly BLAME her??? He lives a life of violence and death.

We also know that not only is she not a babyfactory or a slezut, she is not a cheater either (has been very faithful to johnny).

So. I think she is beautiful and very very sessy and emits a very strong sessuality but I can't really see much to hold against her besides that. Which shouldn't even be held against her anywayZ.

I think women should be allowed to do alot more cool stuff nowdays because its 2009 and I certainly think they should be allowed to be High-Ranking on the HOTTABILITY-Scale without being labelled a BEE-YATCH or a SLE-ZUT.

I Feel very deeply that O pays for being a pretty gal

Does this happen to gals in RL or just on Soaps????

Olivia isn't the first or only sexy female soap character on GH. Not only that, about a month ago about every woman on the board, myself included, cheered Olivia on for having an affair with Johnny and for being independant, strong and real for the most part.

Olivia isn't a slut because of the amount of men she's banged. 

BUT she is sleeping with Johnny who clealy loves her, to make Sonny jealous. Johnny is still young and his feelings are vulnerable. She's using him by banging him and not only that she has been endangering his life by doing so. That's pretty slutty in my opinion.

ALSO she is keeping Dante's paternity from both Sonny and Dante while Dante is planning to take Sonny down while working under cover under Sonny's nose. FOR SURE, if Sonny were to learn of Dante's "cop" identity he would dispose of him faster than Claudia.

While O knows full well she's playing with the death of her son, she proceeds to flirt with Sonny and mommy coddle him because she's dying for his hot grease injection and can't control herself. That's pretty slutty not to mention dispicable

Being a slut has NOTHING to do with how many men you sleep with, its about the circumstances around the men you sleep with and who you're hurting. Olivia is hurting both Johnny who she's using, and her own son ... all for her love of the grease king.

So no, being sexy and hot has nothing at all to do with disliking O.

I don't think she's purposely using Jonny to make Sonny jealous. I think she loves him; the whole Claud blackmail proved that. She was really heartbroken about that breakup. I do think she has unresolved feelings for Sonny and major reservations about his life and how his life affects her kid--father or not. I think she's managed to compartmentalize her life and now it's all collapsing. But I do believe she loves Jonny. That'll be quite a scene when he finds out she knew a cop was right next to him that whole time.

Oh, Also, i DO agree about the shameful way she acts around Sonny NOW....but..... i DO believe that for the majority of Danteominic's life her keeping the secret WAS about keeping her son safe. JMO... - chris

Sadly, the females in PC come in two models....loud-obnoxious-trash or whining-needy-simpletons. Feel free to place your faves in the proper category. Once in a great while, any of these characters may show a flash of clarity, but those moments are far too rare. dd

I like the O very much.  I have always liked the O.  She's single and strong and gorgeous and sexy and more power to her!  Any disparaging remarks about her sexual activity are way off base.  This is 2009 and what she does in her bedroom is her business.

My only problem with her right now is that she is involving Dominic/Dante and Johnny in a very serious situation with Sonny.  I'm afraid that will lead to trouble that she doesn't expect because it seems as if she hasn't thought about the consequences.

I agree with every single word you say about it here Jean - Specially about any comments about her sessuality being way off-base.............As you say, its technically 2009, but, even beyond that, she has actually only done really bad stuff with ONE person (johnny) in like a YEAR!!! - I say: ''Good On Her!!!''....I Like The O too!!! - chris
