It was delightful to see Genie Francis in her movie, The Note (2007), again. It was on the Hallmark TV Channel on cable tonight in my local area. I'd seen it before but had forgotten its impact.
Genie is so lovely and can easily carry the starring role. Her acting skills are superb and rich with depth. Her pacing is deliberate and brings the audience into the scene with her. Nothing is rushed. She has the calm assurance and confidence that allow her to portray all kinds of emotions that ring true. To see her acting for about 2 hours instead of 2 minutes on GH was such a great gift.

Message: I saw the movie for the first time a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it too. I read that the sequel will be on the Hallmark Channel in January!

I agree it was wonderful to have her onscreen for more that 2 minutes. There are many reasons to be very angry at the Disney folks for what they have done to the quality programming on ABC soaps and primetime, and the banishment of GF from GH is right up at the top of my list. And it is a very, very long list.
